My beloved Alfa 2.0ltr ts Selespeed Lusso is in a bit of a bad way.
A young man, we shall refer to him hereafter as GIT, decided that my car was in need of a make over.
He was caught on camera and police were involved.
I have since made a formal complaint and will have to wait to see the outcome of court decision.
This was done on the 2nd last day of my moving house. Came up on Sat to move stuff, left and all was well. Came back at 5pm on Sunday to this and the sitting room window smashed.
you can imagine what I was thinking.
As they say "shit happens"......
Off to pastures new but not too far away.

“Burden of The Beast,” is a fantastical folk art sculpture depicting a bison with a house at its torso. It symbolizes the task of relocating one’s intrinsic understanding of ‘home.’
Both the bison & the house are made with materials from New Orleans structures which have been destroyed by climate disasters, as though the pieces of a fallen home had the sentience and will to collect what could be salvaged, stand up, and head toward higher ground.

I picked up a guide book of walks in the area in the tourist office in Salamanca, and chose one that set off straight from the camp site. It followed the edge of the reservoir, and in the description there was even mention of a path in the pine forest,.. the reality was quite different - sure we followed the banks of the reservoir - at a distance, and it was endless dirt paths under the unrelenting sun...
Colin and I are moving to Australia in less that 7 weeks. We're packing at the moment, unfortunately not everything can come with us...
