Looking through the window, it looks like folks left in a hurry at the end of a busy day. But hard to know if it's been like this since the pandemic started - or just since Friday. :)
This moving truck was and still is owned by moving company Schippers & Co, Amstelveen. Owner Rinus has several old trucks, which are being taken good care of.
Note the nice painted text on the side of the truck.
The 110 used the same cabin as the previous 684 series models, which was introduced in 1970.
The 110 was technically based on the 1971 Fiat 662 series.
7400 cc L6 Diesel engine.
Performance: 122 bhp.
5660 kg.
Max. payload: 5240 kg.
Production Fiat this cabin series: 1970-1979.
Production Fiat series 684, 697, 619: 1970-1973.
Production Fiat 110/130/180 series: 1973-1979.

In 1932 the company's name was changed to "Van Doorne's Aanhangwagenfabriek", in short: DAF (aanhangwagen means trailer, Anhänger or remorque). Only in the early 1950s the company started tot built trucks. In 1958 the first passenger car was presented, the Daf 600. Meanwhile the production of trailers was continued, but they were of less importance.
This trailer is in use as a storage container for a moving company, and on this place for more than 25 years.
