just like Al Gore, i am giving apple a little product placement. that kind of made me giggle during "An Inconvenient Truth". He practically made out with that titanium ibook about 800 times during the movie. It was like his noble steed.

From MoveOn.org - Political action:

In Wisconsin and around our country, the American Dream is under fierce attack. Instead of creating jobs, Republicans are giving tax breaks to corporations and the very rich—and then cutting funding for education, police, emergency response, and vital human services.

On Saturday, February 26, at noon local time, we are organizing rallies in front of every statehouse and in every major city to stand in solidarity with the people of Wisconsin. We demand an end to the attacks on worker's rights and public services across the country. We demand investment, to create decent jobs for the millions of people who desperately want to work. And we demand that the rich and powerful pay their fair share.

Just got my t-shirt

From MoveOn. I'll wear it for

The debate... Oh, wait.

So after "suspending his campaign" yesterday (he's still collecting money, running ads and keeping his campaign offices open), McCain still hasn't decided if he'll deem our democratic process worthy of his time. Great.

I have, however, continued to stick with my attempt to wear something related to Obama every day until the election. I think I've managed almost three weeks now. This shirt will help my cause. Well, at least to the gym... it's not the quite as Small I was expecting. American Apparel, when will you get your sizing right?

Yes we can.

Rob Miller- Return $370,000 to MoveOn.org… are you kidding me?

On Feb. 22, 2007, members of the political action group MoveOn hand-delivered letters to Sen. George Voinovich (R-OH) from constituents opposed to the continuation and escalation of the Iraq war.

This veteran takes issue with many of the decisions made by the Bush Administration in the war, specifically, sending under-trained and under-equipped troops, and diversion of forces away from Afghanistan and the 10th Mountain Division.

Get involved: www.moveon.org/

It's time to get the troops out of Iraq. What we're doing isn't working and it looks like Bush will try to get us into Iran next. If that happens, the shit will hit the fan and we are totally screwed.

I am trying not to get completely disheartened but I feel so at odds with this administration. We are spending a fortune in Iraq and have been for years and arguably Iraqis are worse off than before we went in there.

And what about Osama bin Laden? Bush uses 9/11 as an excuse for everything--meanwhile we are making things worse and worse in the world (not least for Americans).

I have been doing some meditating and praying for peace and love and understanding. I will try to be more loving to those around me and continue to state my views that the direction this country is going is not the direction of progress.

Love and peace to all,

Molly

Ellie, David Mahfouda, Trevor, and me.
