A pro-war mom and daughter. Mom gave the daughter a thumbs-up after the daugher recounted her seconds-old confrontation with a woman sporting a sign in support of Cindy Sheehan. Neither cared to elaborate on exactly how, or if, fighting in Iraq and any bravery that might've occurred there affected positively freedoms in the United States.

I got this in the email this morning. I don't think the MoveOn team will mind a little free advertisement via Flickr.

Dear MoveOn member,

It's pretty amazing: In the last few days, MoveOn members have snapped

up more than 600,000 Obama buttons---way, way more than we expected.

So we've arranged to print more, to make sure everyone can get one.

Want a free Obama button? Just click here:

pol.moveon.org/obamabuttons/?id=13338-9305757-NNYUhDx&...

We originally made these buttons for MoveOn members, but now we've

ordered enough extra that you can share them with all your friends, too.

Feel free to forward this email to anyone you think might want a free

Obama button.

If together we can give out a million buttons, people are going to start

seeing them everywhere they go.

And the more that people see these buttons, the more they'll get the

message that Barack Obama is the candidate with the buzz, momentum,

excitement---and sincere support of regular folks across the country.

Thanks for all you do.

I was driving out of Boston and saw a crowd forming at the State House. It was a Support Wisconsin Rally organized by Mass Public Sector Unions and Moveon.Org. Not a big crowd and well behaved but I didn't see any mass of manufactured signs. Almost all seemed to be hand made.

Pics from this afternoon's "We Choose to Fight: Nobody Elected Elon" MoveOn protest at the Department of Treasury.

Just based on what I saw, I'd say 1500 people came to fight back against the oppressive, dehumanizing techniques of the current administration.

I really did not want to go, I feel so scarred after the Proud Boys visits in 2020. But I could not look myself in the mirror and stand back anymore. So just like 1.0, all of these photos are available on Flickr in Creative Commons for media, influencers, and everyday people like me and you to use. Or just take and share any of these. A man watches DC #moveon director speak during protest. A flash protest occurred at 12pm EDT May 10 2017 in response to President Donald Trump's firing of FBI Director #Comey while a active investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential Election is underway. #soundthealarm

Beginning with a STOP THE DELAYS headline, this ad beseeches Fulton County and the Georgia Court of Appeals to get the Election Interference Case against the former Chief Executive moving! Seen on page A14, the back page of the News Section.

My sticker from moveon.org came in the mail!

Al Franken was the guest speaker at the MoveOn PAC rally, October 31, 2004.

I didn't forget my 52 weeks set. Everyone else is taking photos of Obama this week. Here's my crappy attempt with some of the local papers and moveon.org stickers (I have so many that I don't know what to do with them).

Anne Johnson, in red jacket, waves to traffic while holding her YES PUBLIC OPTION sign. Anne has been an RN for 40 years, and as she says, "can't take it any more." There were numerous honks of support from passing drivers during the rally.

This past Wednesday moveon.org organized for the night a candle lit vigil to be held at many locations around the nation. I went to the one that was held in Fort Lauderdale near the Federal Court Building. As you can imagine Homeland Security Police were out in force getting on anyone that even came close to the building. Because I had a camera I was asked for my identification and then had to wait for a long while to get it back while they assessed the risk I may be. The photo of the woman being confronted by the Police was because her 2 year old child ventured too close to the building. Just so you know the building is about 10 feet from the sidewalk but it was the federal water fountain that was attracting the child and supposedly that was a huge federal no no… With the vigil being held in the evening the light was not very kind to me. I am for the most part against using flash so the shots I found good enough to post are limited. Please click below the cut to view all the photos.

Didn't really dig that.
