Chatham-Kent Fire Service, Station 3, Wallaceburg was dispatched to a reported head-on collision around 16:00 hours on Saturday, January 11, 2014.

 

The collision occurred just north of Heritage Line on St. Clair Road (Highway 40). Once on scene 3-11 requested 1-13 from station 1, and a full attendance by the Station 3, and Station 4 volunteers.

Emergency services in Chatham-Kent were sent to 7593 Pain Court Line for a collision on January 8, 2014.

 

The collision involved a snowmobile and a minivan. The initial call reported the driver of the snowmobile to be unconscious.

 

Emergency crews arrived and immediately started care of the snowmobiler.

 

An Ornge Air Ambulance was called to transport the patient to a trauma centre. The ambulance met the helicopter at PGH in Chatham. The snowmobiler remains in critical condition.

Chatham-Kent Fire, EMS, and Police were dispatched for a two vehicle MVC at Wellington Street East and Prince Street South just before 17:30 on May 13 2014 that involved a police cruiser.

 

According to CKReview.ca; a witness stated that a Grand Prix was northbound on Price and failed to stop for a stop sign. The cruiser was westbound on Wellington and did not have a stop sign. The Grand Prix failed to yield, which caused the cruiser and the civilian car to collide.

 

The officer who was driving the cruiser was transported to PGH with minor injuries to his arms and legs.

Chatham-Kent Fire Service, unit 2-11 responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two cars on April 24, 2014.

 

Only minor injuries were reported.

Chatham-Kent Fire, EMS and Ontario Provincial police responded to a vehicle rollover where the vehicle left HWY401. The vehicle went through a total of three ditches, across another two lane road, and came to rest about 30 metres in a field.

Chatham-Kent Fire Service, station 16 Raleigh South Responded to a two vehicle MVC on April 12, 2014. Both vehicles received extensive damage during the collision on Talbot Trail at Crawford Road, but there were no serious injures reported.

Chatham-Kent Fire Service, Station 18 in Blenheim was paged out for a Motor Vehicle Collision involving two vehicles, one of which was in a ditch with water. Video of 18-11 responding, and on scene footage. The two occupants of the vehicle in the dtich required extrication before being transported to hospital.

Chatham-Kent Fire Service, at 9:56 a.m., Station 4 responded to a two vehicle head on collision, where male had to be extricated from a work van. Ornge Air Ambulance was dispatched from London and landed in a field beside the scene, where the male was packaged and transported to London in apparent critical condition.

Chatham-Kent Fire Service, Station 18 Blenheim responded to a single vehicle rollover on Ridge Line just east of Mull Road.

 

The call came in around 17:30 hours on Monday February 3, 2014. An elderly woman was originally reported to be trapped in the vehicle, but emergency crews found the woman outsider of the vehicle upon arrival.

Station 10 of Chatham-Kent Fire Service was dispatched for a single vehicle rollover on Bury Road with an infant having severe injuries.

 

Crews arrived on scene with all occupants out of the vehicle. The infant was not severely injured.

A pick-up truck left the roadway on highway 401 and rolled down a railroad overpass.

Sarnia Fire Rescue Services, Ladder 2.

 

Just before 14:30 hours on September 25, 2013, Sarnia Fire Rescue responded to a motor vehicle collision at Highway 40 and Indian Road.

 

A GMC pick-up had rolled over after it, and a GMC Envoy collided at the intersection.

 

The occupants made it out of both vehicles without injuries, and did not require medical attention.

 

Firefighters from Ladder 2 secured both vehicles and their batteries and cleared the scene.

Chatham-Kent Fire Service, Station 3, Wallaceburg was dispatched to a reported head-on collision around 16:00 hours on Saturday, January 11, 2014.

The Chatham-Kent detachment of the O.P.P. are currently investigating the incident. A northbound Chrysler and a southbound Toyota collided according to O.P.P., but it is not known if the vehicles actually hit head-on. The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger was taken to Chatham hospital with unknown injuries. The Driver of the Chrysler was also taken to Chatham hospital with unknown injuries.

Chatham-Kent Fire Service, Station 19 responded to a collision on October 8 2014 involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor on Queens Line. Firefighters extricated the driver of the passenger vehicle who was transported to hospital in Chatham via land ambulance.

A small trailer carrying approximately 1000 litres of diesel fuel overturned prompting a Hazardous Materials response.

The driver of this car died in this head-on accident in Knox County, Tennessee. Reportely, he had just purchased a new cell phone and was showing his son the camera option when the crash occurred. The son was not seriously injured.

Sarnia Fire Rescue Services responded to a motor vehicle collision on Talfourd St. at Harkness St. with rollover. A total of four people were involved in the crash, and escaped with only minor injuries. The driver of the Dodge Durango was charged following the collision, presumably for failure to stop.

Chatham-Kent firefighters from Station 15 Raleigh North rescued an elderly couple Friday afternoon on Bloomfield Road south of the 401. The couples pick-up truck left the roadway, rolled and came to rest on its side in a ditch with water in it. With-in 10 minutes, the couple were out of the vehicle and being checked by paramedics in the ambulance. According to C-K police on scene, the injuries are not life threatening. The incident is under investigation by police.

Sarnia Fire Rescue Services, Rescue 1.

 

Sarnia Fire, Police and EMS were called out for a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Indian Road and Exmouth Street. One person was transported to hospital via land ambulance for observation. Police have not yet released any further details.

Chatham-Kent Fire station 11 responded to a single vehicle rollover, where one person was transported to hospital on July 6, 2015.

Two vehicles were involved in a motor vehicle accident at Lafayette and Clinton Ave. at approximately 4:50 pm Sat. July, 21 , 2012.

A motorcyclist was taken to Bluewater Health in Sarnia late Wednesday night with serious injuries following a crash on Front Street at Highway 402 in Point Edward.
