Flickr video deletes a few frames, which is pretty bad for a short stop-motion film such as this. Better on youtube.

This effect is caused by taking a long exposure (~1 sec) of some colored Christmas lights hung on the tree in the town square and tossing the camera gently.
I think it ends up looking a bit like Mardi Gras beads.

Your choice: Blurred motion: a pawn shop at night downtown. I wanted one night shot with moving cars even though that kind of shot is popular. This was a COTA bus going by. I thought the neon colors in the windows made it look interesting.
while tracking a seagull with a slow shutter speed I found this image among many others that looked nothing like this. I just love how the wings and body flow in this image.

This click captured the motion and movement in the pre-jump ring as this spectacular copper colored horse pranced about, awaiting his cue to shine for the judges.
Truly, this was his color in the sunshine. He was an amazingly gorgeous horse - and if you look closely, he has white freckles. Do you know of a redhead that doesn't sport freckles? Me neither.
