Lukas Maverick RockRingmaster re-root by me

7/365 Morpheus.

New song Morpheus by In Strict Confidence totally made my day. i adore how the poem sparkles inside the lyrics ..когда ж умчится ночи мгла/ и ты мои покинешь очи/ о, если бы душа могла/ забыть любовь до новой ночи! (А.С.Пушкин, К Морфею). Great and inspiring song.

I followed my vision of that feeling of obsession/possession which gives you Morpheus as a god of dreams. His army narcotizes you with poppy flowers and then sinks deep into the black of night controlling and operating you. You want to run? You wish. It/s the red-colored vendetta of allwhatsburiedinyourhead. Mafia of the unconscious never forgets, never forgives. Bang-bang.

Morpheus (1852) - by Fyodor Tolstoy, Tretyakov Gallery

Morpheus, in Greco-Roman mythology, one of the sons of Hypnos (Somnus), the god of sleep. Morpheus sends human shapes (Greek morphai) of all kinds to the dreamer, while his brothers Phobetor (or Icelus) and Phantasus send the forms of animals and inanimate things, respectively.

Jim, Zac, Ethan and Josh had all been troubled during the night by their dreams

The Roman poet Ovid states in his 'Metamorphoses' that Morpheus is a son of Hypnos the god of sleep, and reports that he had a thousand siblings, with Morpheus, Phobetor and Phantasos being merely the most prominent among them.

Phobetor was thought to be the bringer of nightmares, and had the ability to appear as animals or monsters; Phantasos was believed to bring surreal and strange dreams, and was able to appear as inanimate objects, such as stones or wood.

In contrast to his two siblings, Morpheus brought messages and prophesies from the gods to mortals through the medium of dreams.

In Classical art, Morpheus is shown with a horn and ivory box full of dreams, some black and some white.

A bottle of Morpheus Tripel from Picobrouwerij Alvinne in Moen, Belgium, at Håndverkerstuene in Oslo.

Morpheus Tripel is an 8.7% abv abbey tripel. It poured a clear, reddish golden color with a beige head. It sported a sweet aroma of ripe berries, grainy malt and yeast. Ripe apples too, as it warmed up. The mouthfeel was medium heavy with a soft carbonation. The flavor started out with a mild sugary sweetness and overripe fruits. Also some yeast. Overall fairly round with a dry, short finish.

Overall a mild and a bit boring tripel, I missed the spices, a fresher fruitiness and a longer aftertaste.

this guy was a great morpheus

Last in my series of Matrix figures, we've got the badass Morpheus, here pictured with the katana from Matrix Revolutions.

For the head, I used a First Order gunner, the torso and legs are from The Batman's penguin, and I used the same machine gun design as I did for Neo.

Leave a comment with suggestions for what I should do next, and follow my account for more custom Lego figures.

The major incident capabilities of West Midlands Fire Service were put to the test.

The emergency planning exercise – codenamed Morpheus – saw 15 fire engines travelling in convoy from Birmingham to the National Fire Service College at Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire.

A total of 110 staff took part in the training.

Adrian Baldock, Station Cmdr, said: “The exercise proved to be an excellent test of our staff and procedures for dealing with major incidents... It is difficult to simulate the “real thing” .

“The complete simulation involved a major breathing apparatus search and rescue exercise at the Fire College Moreton in Marsh, Gloucestershire. The day also included special “convoy training”.

An unforgettable Fan-Boy moment for me! I've admired Morpheus' exploits on Flickr; never thought I'd get to meet him; he shows up at the NYCC the one day I was there! This was an honor and a blessing! Until next time, be well Morpheus! (Photo courtesy of Mike Mason.)
