CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Engineers and technicians prepare NASA's Project Morpheus prototype lander for free flight test number 15 at the north end of the Shuttle Landing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The lander will take off from the ground over a flame trench and use its autonomous landing and hazard avoidance technology, or ALHAT sensors, to survey the hazard field to determine safe landing sites. Project Morpheus tests NASA’s ALHAT and an engine that runs on liquid oxygen and methane, which are green propellants. These new capabilities could be used in future efforts to deliver cargo to planetary surfaces. Project Morpheus is being managed under the Advanced Exploration Systems, or AES, Division in NASA’s Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate. The capacious luxury yacht NAFISA is a motor yacht. This 49 metre (162 foot) luxury yacht was created by Schiffs-Und Bootswerf Fr Schweers (Lurssen Group) in 1986. NAFISA used to be Edenforth; Brave Goose; Princess Kelly. Superyacht NAFISA is a majestic yacht that can sleep up to 16 passengers on board and has a total of 14 professional crew.
The yacht's wider design collaboration came from Schweers and Diana Yacht Design. The technical naval architect firm drawings are the work of Schweers. In 1986 she was formally launched with accolade in Bardenfleet and post sea trials and finishing touches was afterwards passed on to the owner who commissioned her. Schiffs-Und Bootswerf Fr Schweers (Lurssen Group) completed their new build motor yacht in Germany. Her main hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is fabricated extensively with aluminium. With a width of 9.08 m or 29.8 feet NAFISA has fairly large internal space. She has a deep draught of 3.11m (10.2ft). She had refit improvement and modification completed by 1997.
NAFISA is installed with two DEUTZ-MWM diesel engine(s) and can manage a impressive max continuous speed of 15 knots. The engine of the yacht creates 1020 horse power (or 751 kilowatts). Her total HP is 2040 HP and her total Kilowatts are 1501. For propulsion NAFISA has twin screw propellers. For stabalisers she uses Siemens. This yacht’s accomplished cruising speed is 13 knots which produces a range of 4200.
2008 Yamaha Morpheus scooter (250CC). It's seat is only 25 inches above the pavement. And unlike most scooters, you can stretch your legs on it a little. I like the styling, but with all the big Sport Utility vehicles on the road, you'd be a target while riding one.
After years of training you have normally gained enough proficiency to develop your own characteristics and stylez. Prozac05 here was definitely inspired by Morpheus from Matrix...
The major incident capabilities of West Midlands Fire Service were put to the test.
The emergency planning exercise – codenamed Morpheus – saw 15 fire engines travelling in convoy from Birmingham to the National Fire Service College at Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire.
A total of 110 staff took part in the training.
Adrian Baldock, Station Cmdr, said: “The exercise proved to be an excellent test of our staff and procedures for dealing with major incidents... It is difficult to simulate the “real thing” .
“The complete simulation involved a major breathing apparatus search and rescue exercise at the Fire College Moreton in Marsh, Gloucestershire. The day also included special “convoy training”.

I followed my vision of that feeling of obsession/possession which gives you Morpheus as a god of dreams. His army narcotizes you with poppy flowers and then sinks deep into the black of night controlling and operating you. You want to run? You wish. The Roman poet Ovid states in his 'Metamorphoses' that Morpheus is a son of Hypnos the god of sleep, and reports that he had a thousand siblings, with Morpheus, Phobetor and Phantasos being merely the most prominent among them.
Phobetor was thought to be the bringer of nightmares, and had the ability to appear as animals or monsters; Phantasos was believed to bring surreal and strange dreams, and was able to appear as inanimate objects, such as stones or wood.
In contrast to his two siblings, Morpheus brought messages and prophesies from the gods to mortals through the medium of dreams.
In Classical art, Morpheus is shown with a horn and ivory box full of dreams, some black and some white.
