I love to take walks during a full moon. A first for me....Papa, mama and baby together. I think I was busted by Papa moose.

After mowing the lawn today I noticed the moon was out during the day. Sat down a bit and a robin landed on this tree branch. So had to take a pic.
A re-edit of an image I wanted to clean up and add a little more color to. I’m hoping to get back down to this area (Kaw Point) for the next full moon which will be the first of the new year but it will be a micro moon. I am also aware there there will be a Wolf Blood Moon in late January.

It was a cold day. In the evening the full moon was rising through the break of the clouds that had brought a snow flurry. The clouds were beautifully shined and colored by the bright moonlight.
Taken at 09:00GMT on February 9, 2020. Moon age: 15.5.
Handheld.
I was lucky to capture a shooting star while out photographing the Milky Way over Palouse Falls, on a night where the falls was lit up by the full moon. That's my shadow in the lower left-hand corner.
If you're ever feeling lonely just look at the moon....someone somewhere is looking right at it too.
Long exposure after the lunar eclipse and lit up the lake by the Full Moon.

It's actually not...this was shot in the high noon. However, the effect of the dense foliage is such that it completely masks the harsh light of mid-day and gives it a dusky feeling. The grey heron actually gets a slight bluish tinge.
Mimmo Photo Contest :) This is a beautiful sim for photos!
'Cause I see
To fly you need to fall
And I have won the war
The battles that were lost
Now don't matter
I won't blame the world
'Cause every time it hurts
When I went through the worst
I came out better

Coffee and poetry by gentle light from an oil lamp on a frosty moonlit evening. Technical: single take, manual exposure. The 'moon' is a crescent-shaped hole cut into dark cardboard showing a white shiny card behind, separated by a gap. A flash is hand-held and fired onto the white background so that the light bounces back, through the cutout and back-lights the frost effect (see last week's shot for details) on the window. The flash has a coloured gel to get just the right colour for the moon effect. Phew, that's actually harder to describe than to do!
Panorama from a geology trip to Assynt in May. Would be a great photo spot in a month where the sky gets a bit darker allowing more stars to be visible.
Beneath the silver glow’s embrace,
Where shadows dance with gentle grace,
A secret realm in twilight’s shade,
Awaits the dreams that fairy’s made.
The mossy floor, a velvet bed,
With whispers of the night unsaid,
Faint glimmers in the air shimmer bright,
Guiding hearts through enchanted night.
In this sacred, silent space,
Magic stirs in every place,
A moonlit glade, where dreams cascade,
And wonder’s song will never fade.
Let the quiet beauty of the moonlit glade remind you that even in the darkest moments, there is a place of peace and wonder within. Sometimes, the most enchanting journeys begin in the quietest of moments. ❤️
