… a late night romanticistic moment in a park.

"The moon, like a flower in heaven's high bower, with silent delight sits and smiles on the night." William Blake used to say.

Chiamalo Amore se non sa oscurarsi nel buio più cieco, e chiamalo Amore se anche la sua ombra ti fa luce.

Tu chiamalo Amore, perchè non ha altro nome un momento... eterno.

The full moon was casting an amazing light on the water.

This picture was shot at Rampurhat, West Bengal, India during a Full moon (The Holy, the color festival of India)

One of the great waterfalls in northern Iceland. The weather during January and February has been worse than usual with severe storms on a regular basis. In a 2.5 week period we had 4 calm days and on one of these I was able to visit Godafoss around 2 in the morning during a gap in the clouds.

A great place to be!

Thank you for taking the time to visit, comment, fave or invite. I really appreciate them all.

I have never attempted star trails with such a big moon in the night sky. A 90% waxing moon was just just behind me and out of the frame. I think the moon lit up the ground and the trees beautifully and the stars were still visible.

Happy Weekend :)

Actually it was daytime but I messed around with the clock. Wild carrots dance with their friends in the garden.

Full moon casts it's mood across the water.

Right before he dunked me in the water...

To the moon and back, babe... to the moon ... and back.

The rising moon illuminates the landscape over Hunts Mesa.

After shooting the sunset, we had some time to kill so we kept on shooting into the blue hour. It was amazing to see the shadow shapes emerge as moonlight cast shadows on the interesting geological features found down below.
