I could think of nothing better suited to an image devoted to moonlight and beach serenity than the classical music composition "Clair de Lune" by Claude Debussy.
This is a composite of two of my images combined in Photoshop with the texture "Captured Light at Sea-4" by Jai Johnson. www.dailytexture.com/

The Luminosity preset was used in Topaz.

Two souls, one moon, flowing along cold slow waters.
Together, another late night, passing the time between two kindred spirits.
Reflecting on the river of life, crying with jolly laughter.
Reveling into the unknown, singing only joyous lyrics.
All it takes is a leaf to float away... It is great to be back for 2017. Getting back to my macro/light painting experiment. Enjoying some moonlight madness and wishing all of my Flickr friends a happy New Year! Continuing our travels together in the "The Eternal Journey" series.

The very first shot I took on my recent early morning shoot at Zouch, this is along a diversion of the river Soar that cuts out the weir and sluice gate. Loved how the moonlight lit up the mist and the side of the narrowboats

Moonlight shining down on a massive iceberg. The only sounds out here were the creaks and pops of the glacier in the background as it moved forward a fractions of a inch at a time.
Moon setting @ Stonehenge, Wiltshire UK
Taken a little before my previous Milky Way shot as the moon was setting. There was a nice light peach/orange glow which caught my eye. I was a bit late in arriving as wasn't expecting this so did the best I could with composition.
Disclosure - I have cloned out the rope fence in the foreground so I wasn't trespassing!

The spirit of the season fills the air as moonlight filters through the trees on a cold winter night at Frisland. Young hearts pitter patter with anticipation awaiting the sound of hoof beats on the roof as the spirit of giving falls across the land like fresh fallen snow.

Very very early in the morning (4:45ish) capture of the moonlight there on the Atlantic Ocean and the pier at Tybee Island. I had to be out there that early because at sunrise they would be filming there and the pier and beach would be off limits again.
Damn Hollywood ...
