The air smelled of rain and salt, a final whisper of the life she was leaving behind. Boxes stood like silent witnesses, her fingers tracing the edges of a ticket marked with an unfamiliar address. Outside, the moon hung low, watching as she breathed in the weight of farewell - yet somewhere beyond, a new wind stirred, calling her toward the unknown.
This morning's sunrise with the seagull silhouetted was beautiful. Wishing all my Flickr friends a Merry Christmas and New Year. I find the images shared on this site so inspiring. May 2017 be a clicking great year.... : )))
Moods are not to be confused with emotions. Moods will dispose you to having an emotion. Certain moods you're more likely to get angry than others, as we all know, but emotion is not the same as mood. Emotions, I think, always have to do with agitated forms of desire. Whenever you're in an emotional state, you have some sort of agitated desire. So, emotions are fairly special -- I am not always in some sort of emotional state or other, but I think I am always in some mood or other.

Retrospekt Modifications:
External battery pack
Polaroid dual film (600/i-Type) conversion
Film - Polaroid i-Type
Scan - Epson Perfection V600 Photo
No this isn't a Polaroid special blue film. It's regular i-Type and as you can see i-Type doesn't like the cold. But I agree with the photo, it was cold by the lake and the photo fits the mood.

Helgoland series: Weekend mood
The grey seal (Halichoerus grypus) is Germany's largest predator, although this specimen preferred to spend the day napping on the beach. They are usually moulting in spring which makes it difficult for them to swim and dive. You can see it in the picture if you look closely: The old brownish fur has been partially replaced with the new, shorter greyish fur.
Golden hour photography uses the soft, warm, diffused light just after sunrise or before sunset, creating a magical, flattering glow with long shadows and rich red/gold tones due to the low sun angle filtering light through more atmosphere.
It's ideal for portraits and landscapes, adding depth and a dreamy quality.
Not quite the same in black and white.
Shooting in black and white during the golden hour
shifts focus from warm colours to light, shadow, texture, and mood, creating dramatic, high-contrast images with long shadows and ethereal light, emphasising form and emotion over hue, and often revealing timeless, classic compositions.

Girls, if the gentleman on the left tries to sweet-talk you and asks for a kiss when you’re out on a moonlit October night, don’t be charmed, as his mood has been known to change quite suddenly and unexpectedly! Mwahahaha!!!

A metaphor to explain the MOOD of my week. The first few days were turbulent, but now it’s Friday and things are looking a lot calmer.
I waited for that moment like the earth waits for rain.
And then he came back...with the same face, the same voice,
but nothing that remembered me.
It was like hugging a ghost made of skin and breath.
I smiled, but something inside me stepped away.
That day, I realized:
some people return only to remind you how far they’ve gone.
And so are my feelings.
