A fantastic paper serviette of £10 note look a likes. Ball it up and throw it on the fire!

A detail from old Zimbabwean $1000 bill. I used an iPhone and Olloclip macro lens to take a closeup shot, and then processed with thermal filter. The bill is from 6 years ago when Zimbabwean dollars still were in circulation. Now its value is less than zero, but I can still squeeze a Sliders Sunday picture out of it. More than one, actually. Check the comments for some extras, including the full view of the bill. HSS!

Time is money. Nowhere is that more evident than on Worth Ave on Palm Beach Island. The bastion of high society, the corridors of power, and playground of the über wealthy. Ironically the only thing that is free here, is the time on the Worth Avenue clock tower.

Location: Sunrise this morning, Palm Beach Island FL

Macro com a lente invertida

Just messing around with some money.

After the fact I thought about that I didn't have a 50 cent piece or a 2 dollar bill. Oh well.

For those wondering, its 2 rolls of pennies, 1 roll of nickles, 1 roll of dimes, 8 quarters, and a $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 bill, and it went back to the bank.

I have no idea what this display was meant to represent - it was in a shop window in Tenby.

Black & White edit of a photograph taken in 2012 with a Sony RX-100.

After drinking and playing cards all day with friends in a shed intended (but not used) as a public market, a man leaves with 100 Pesos (about US$ 2) to buy more liquor.

This money is enough to buy about 2 liters of cheap whiskey. In the Philippines alcohol is taxed at very low rates.

My roommate has two of these little pots in the kitchen, but doesn't keep lottery money in either of them. I checked.

These annuals and perennials are found naturally from Europe to eastern Siberia. They are grown for their pretty mauve flowers and decorative seedpods, called silicles.

The scientific name is Lunaria but commonly called Honesty, Money Plant, Money Penny, Moonwort, Satin Flower and Silver Dollars, the name is derived from luna, the moon, and refers to the shape of the seedpods.

Monnaie du Pape in French.

Judaspenning in Dutch.

This is the final product, the end of summer, you cut them, peel off two papery sides in which are all the seeds, you are left with this delicate silver center.

Wishing you a golden day and thank you for you visit, M, (*_*)

Follow the money. The Surinamese dollar is almost worthless outside Suriname.

I can't believe I've made it this far and felt like I really deserved a night off.

When I thought about the theme #PreciousTreasure, I thought about the obsession that can sometimes overwhelm people with the pursuit of it. Money makes the promise of happiness. Whether it be to obtain love or material objects.

I wanted to portray money as the sparkle that attracts people and envelop it in darkness just as it can do to a person.

an auspicious start to a Monday I think:)

Not my fault someone didn't clean out their pockets. If I wash it I keep it;)
