A late Monday evening view of Snowdon from Capel Curig.
I didn't get the hoped for sunset but the fleeting iridescence near to the summit was worth the wait.

I'm feeling blues. Not only this monday but ever since I return to Japan.
Need some new inspiration, new motivation, new target to make life more interesting.
Is time to make some changes!!
After running the pooch senseless in the surf at dog beach on a bright, breezy, Monday evening, I came home, dropped the kayak over the retaining wall, and went for a 45 minute paddle around the harbor.
If you gotta get a work out, this is as good a chore as any.

On The Forum, Southend-On-Sea website it said a replica Sopwith Pup biplane from Stow Maries Aerodrome would be on display in the Shared Space area from Monday 15th February until Saturday 20th February 2016. I arrived just after midday on Friday 19th February to find the disassembled replica being loaded on to a trailer outside of The Forum. I asked one of the volunteer helpers about it and was told that they had a telephone call to say pack it away.

Moral Mondays gathered the day before Election Day to raise up the voices of ordinary New Yorkers, naming the crises and longings that come from the ground up.
We met at City Hall, near the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge, and invited passers-by to share their hopes and grievances for the new administration. Dozens offered their thoughts and there was a great deal of conversation around the event.
We’re troubled by the corruption that continues to make New York’s political system a system rigged by those making huge profits off of those merely trying to scrape by. We the people of the city have already spoken in the primaries — we are ready for a more just and equitable future.
But we know that we won’t win it without standing strong together for righteousness.
I had a pork shoulder I'd been planning to make into cider-braised pork with caramelized onions on Sunday, but alas, my defrosting plans went awry. Pookie was a super-genius, though, when she suggested that I just postpone that meal to today, and come home during lunch to assemble it for the slow cooker. Pookie is so smart. When I got home from work the second time today, we had perfect pork waiting to be pulled, and then I made some mashed potatoes and steamed carrots and some corn muffins, and honestly, has a workday Monday ever had a fancier dinner than this?
