Kawela, Huewai Gulch (east of Puu Kolekole road). Pleomele was relatively abundant here, and some rarer plants were present as well, but unfortunately the area is dominated by five-foot tall molasses grass.
The shoreline just east of Hanauma Bay and part of the overall preserve, Oahu, Hawaii. The shades of blue from the sky to the deep pacific and then the crashing waves on the lava rock shoreline is nothing short of spectacular. This area is easily viewed from a lookout parking area along the Kalanianole highway.
