I took this while I was wandering around our local Big City of Pottstown. This was processed mostly through NIK Silver Efex Pro (I really love all those NIK modules). This module did the B&W conversion, restored the red-cast to the boarded-up windows (they really were a maroon-red) and added the old-timey grain effect, vignette and burnt-edges.
I think that selective colorization in a B&W is a gimmick that can be overdone, but in this case I thought the result was reminiscent of 19th century hand-tinted images and “worked” with the rest of the processing.

Turns the trusty workhorse "283 into a useful strobist tool. The only downside is that since its just a potentiometer, there are no positive clicks for each setting, so you don't really know if that power level is what you're getting. But its pretty close. It also allows adjustment down to 1/64th power, better than the current 285 HV. "

Diogene, Vitra Campus, Weil am Rhein, Germany - Renzo Piano Building Workshop
Diogene is not an emergency accommodation, but a voluntary place of retreat. Today’s demand for sustainability forces us to minimize our ecological footprint. With a gross floor area of 2.5 x 3 m (8 x 9 ft) when fully assembled and furnished, Diogene can be loaded onto a truck and transported anywhere. It is designed to function in various climate conditions independent of the existing infrastructure.
The envelope is composed of a wooden structure, with high performance vacuum insulation and triple glazing. While Diogene’s exterior corresponds to the image of a simple house, it is in truth an intelligent dwelling, equipped with various installations and technical systems that are necessary to guarantee its self-sufficiency. The houses energy and water autonomy strategies include: a photovoltaic module, solar collector modules, a rainwater collection system, a composting toilet, as well as natural ventilation, with the possibility to recover heat in a small air handling unit. In order to meet the water demand, water reuse is possible.
The house and furnishings form a single unit and are constructed from wood, a renewable building material with a warm character. For durable weather protection, the exterior is coated with 2mm aluminum paneling. The front part serves as a living room: on one side, there is a pull-out sofa; on the other, a folding table under the window. A shower, toilet, and kitchen can be found behind the partition. Diogene is equipped with everything needed for living.

Modular homes are built in pieces or modules in a factory and transported to a site where they are assembled and attached to a permanent foundation. The homes are prized by homeowners and builders for their speed of construction, quality, energy efficiency and their indistinguishable likeness to traditional site-built homes.

The middle pair have a single thru line spaced 20 studs from a two stall siding. The bottom pair have lateral progression and also opens up two stalls on each side for yard ladder building.
