The Command Module from Apollo 11 moon mission was on display at the Seattle Museum of flight in celebration of the 50 year anniversary. I took Miles and Dane to go see it. Hard to believe that this thing flew all the way to the moon, orbited and then flew all the way back to Earth and splashed down in the ocean.

This will soon be brought by the space shuttle to the International Space Station. It's the European Columbus Module.
This track plan assumes removable N-trak compatible modules (2' x 4') and allows you to have plug-in "scenes" with a way for trains to run through continuously.

Papa's company's solar modules are installed at this park. It was neat to see them. They'll be adding more modules later, and we would like to go back when they are all done.

Loved Fuschias ever since our honeymoon in Sneem, Ireland. The hedgerows were fuschia with montbretia growing in them too - absolutely stunning.
Using the widest aperture on my old manual lens, I focused on the closest flower head (the on on the left 3rd), which threw the other open head slightly out of focus, and really softening the unopened buds. The sun came through just right to give real life to the purple. Others in this series taken a few seconds apart didn't have quite the same lightness to the purple.
