Um die Dreiteilung ohne zusätzliche Faltungen zu erreichen, habe ich Papier mit einem quadratischen Mustersatz verwendet (Ikea Geschenkpapier). Jedes Quadrat bestand aus drei mal drei Mustersätzen...

I'm now to six strips in place, and the structure starts to become clearer (at least to me...) :
You can see a completed pentagon on the top, it is one of the pentagons filling the pentagonals holes. For this hole there will be a second pentagon which will be on top of this one. This is why I started with these strips, this pentagon will become next to impossible to reach latter...
Around this pentagon, the five strips which form a kind of flower around it show how it will be surrounded by five dodecahedra.
Also, some parts are now more or less holding together alone, I can remove some of the paperclips. It was time, I'm begining to run out of paperclips !

There are some inaccuracies because I would occasionally draw across a fold by accident.

As an idea to improve the PennLUG city/train layout, I suggested the idea of making building facades as backdrops. This is my first attempt at the idea. I decided to make it modular, both for easier assembly/takedown and so it can be arranged in different ways, depending on the layout. I used a bunch of wide red bricks and some deep windows I had and didn't have much use for.

This is my favorite MOC thus far. 99% of its parts came from multiple copies of several Prince of Persia set that I purchased at a ridiculously low price. It started out as a restaurant, but ended up looking more like a Persian-themed night club (not surprising considering the source of the bricks), so I took it in that direction.
This was envisioned as some sort of smoke-filled meeting room for some less than scrupulous characters (the Series 5 Gangster might be a good addition). I'd still like to add one of those new globes, a book case, and perhaps a suit of armor.

Folded and assembled from 6 square Korean Duo-coloured papers [15cm x15cm]. No cuts and no glue. This was created in 1988 and published in my self-publication, "Modular Origami". The model was later published in "Origami La Era Nueva" by Kunihiko Kasahara in 1989 [ISBN 4-387-89167-X] and also appeared in "Owrigami", Booklet #58, published by BOS in 2001.

I knit this blanket over 2 winters using 13 colors of Knit Picks Wool of the Andes. I had to make a logic puzzle so that I wouldn't repeat any color combinations or put like next to like. There are 336 squares and about 25 triangles. If I had to do it over, (which I won't !), I would use only 3 colors.

I have been laser cutting felt as part of my experimentation with textiles and textile techniques. I stitched together this form as part of a series of jewellery based on the theme: Organic Modular Structures. This felt object can be manipulated into different forms by pushing a side in to form concave surfaces anywhere on the form.
