I knit this blanket over 2 winters using 13 colors of Knit Picks Wool of the Andes. I had to make a logic puzzle so that I wouldn't repeat any color combinations or put like next to like. There are 336 squares and about 25 triangles. If I had to do it over, (which I won't !), I would use only 3 colors.

I have been laser cutting felt as part of my experimentation with textiles and textile techniques. I stitched together this form as part of a series of jewellery based on the theme: Organic Modular Structures. This felt object can be manipulated into different forms by pushing a side in to form concave surfaces anywhere on the form.

This side event will showcase progress in the ReNuAL/ ReNuAL+ project, with an emphasis on the inauguration of the new Flexible Modular Laboratory during the Ministerial Conference opening. The side event will include special recognition of any Member State that has contributed to the ReNuAL+ project on more than one occasion or for the first time since GC (62). A US-based company named Wikispeed has adopted a modular approach with the design of the SGT01, a car designed as a modular platform which will empower suppliers to innovate freely. Each part of the car is a component that fits into a standard interface. For example, when the engine wears out, it can be removed and replaced in one piece, like a tire. Although they are still seeking funding to go into full production, they have designed a 4-seater commuter car that gets up to 114 miles per gallon and can sell for $20,000 using this approach. Although it's not in production yet, you can still order one today on the internet.
Corrected from an earlier sketch.

This is my first MOC as an AFOL. I took my inspiration from various terrace houses and styles of architecture in and around my home town of Hobart, it is also reminiscent of terrace houses throughout the UK.
My building includes an interior over two levels as well as an internal spiral staircase and a courtyard garden off the rear extension.

Main living quarters complete with big tv, sofa, lazy boy, bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinet with alarm clock and lamp. Far end is the minimal kitchen just enough for what a bachelor needs. Note the stairs on the back leading to the entertainment roof area.
I'm using tiny random bits of leftover sock yarn and cone ends of lace-weight yarn, all from Renaissance Dyeing. It's about half done here. The second half will be grafted onto the straight edge where the stitch holders are now, resulting in a scarf with scalloped edges and points at the ends.
A recent experiment with modular drawing. All sections drawn in 58 minutes. Starting with one drawing across a trifold, I used folds in subsequent drawings as seeds for other ones. Some patterns only appear when two sheets are folded and aligned.
There are some inaccuracies because I would occasionally draw across a fold by accident.
