This cube consists of 138 4cm x 4cm squares folded into identical sonobe modules; the final size is about 6cm x 6cm x 6cm. The printed areas are made from pages from an old dictionary.

La pieza es básicamente una base pájaro blintzeada, con un pliegue hundido en el medio del papel.
This one was built for a customer in 2005. I believe this unit is now owned by a music department in a school.

I've seen this ball on mike moore's photostream. it's a fumiaki kawahata design and some longer while ago leyla torres posted instructions of it on her old blog.
I thought that the ball looks one of those puzzle things to me you might get in a toy shop. so I left it in a toy shop. when I left the shop I took a last look back and already saw an employee studying the model with apparent interest. mission accomplished!

Parcel Collection Office
The hustle and bustle of a busy little parcel office along Market Street where the Minifigures are coming and going, with a couple taking a short break for a chat.
This modular origami piece was made with holographic paper. I started with 6 inch squares. This model takes 20 hexagonal flat units (1 piece of paper per hex unit) and 30 connectors which is an additional 8 pieces of paper. The diagrams are in "Unit Polyhedoron Origami" by Tomoko Fuse.
