A modular castle MOC that I've built recently as a present for my six years old pal that I use to play with quite a lot (or just my nephew if you will ;) ). It includes a main gate with working drawbridge and portcullis, foldable walls and lots of space to place and pose the minifigures. As much as I could, I was trying to achieve the look and feel of the old LEGO castles that I played with as a kid back in the 80s and 90s.

Design of the battlements modules for the towers and the main gate was heavily inspired by the Kingdoms Modular Castle Creator LEGO Ideas project by Michael Kalkwarf (www.flickr.com/photos/michaelkalkwarf/).

Hm, not my best folding ever:) Although technically there is nothing wrong with this star, it was just difficult to make it neat in the center.

Do you want to try to fold it? If so, leave a comment and if there are at least 5 people who are willing to fold and show me the result, I'll make a short tutorial.

Inspired to Palazzo Farnese in Rome

While I have most of the modular buildings I never got around to buy 10190 Market Street, so I built this variant instead. As most of my modular mods it separates vertically (note seam on right side) but I haven't added any interior yet. I skipped the entire left section of the original, as it doesn't look very good (like a teardown site) and requires several dark blue 8x2 arches (which was really expensive at the time I built this). Here I've placed my slightly modified Medieval Market house there instead, in an attempt to show the difference between the medium and maersk blue. It's still pretty much impossible to see, I really need some better lighting equipment.
