A recent experiment with modular drawing. All sections drawn in 58 minutes. Starting with one drawing across a trifold, I used folds in subsequent drawings as seeds for other ones. Some patterns only appear when two sheets are folded and aligned.
There are some inaccuracies because I would occasionally draw across a fold by accident.

This Modular Double Cube was created in 2001 and was in my display shelf all these years. The model was folded from copy papers and still looked good, although the colours are slightly faded.
3 slightly different modules, 12 of each are used in the assembly. The rough sketches of the modules were sent to Meenakshi Mukerji who successfully managed to decipher and reproduced the model and posted it at her website - www.origamee.net/index.html

Ricardo, I hope this helps you build it as fast as possible. :)
There are some hiccups, it could go smoother, but I hope you see the fast way to build the triangle base and the way to add 2-3 bars at a time and add the spheres later, all to save time.
Furthermore, this method of always building with a 'string' of bars and creating closed loops ensures that the final module is automatically the strongest possible because there are no strong polarities conflicting inside.

These are modulars which are assembled from unfolded units. Folding units for modulars is tedious but for these modulars, you move straight to assembly. Of course, this is the tricky part. The enantiomorphic symmetry makes assembly more difficult. The models are representations of the dimpled dodecadedron, octahedron and tetrahedron. The number of strips required for each module is the same as the number of faces of the polyhedron.

This cube with a heart on the corners of each face is perfect as a hanging decoration !
Leyla Torres took the heart model by Ildikó Vass and made the unit for this cube .

I was wondering if I could make any plane modulars, to cover my laptop's keyboard when idle and also good enough to show off my skills in folding. Now I've got a lot more than I expected. It is too good to just be used as a cover. Diagrams and some modifications coming soon...

222-S green modular install at Hanford.
A modular office building designed to last 30 years is now installed on its permanent foundation. Its a hybrid between a mobile home and a traditional building. The 2,800 square foot building meets DOE environmental directives but is also more substantial than a trailer and more comfortable for employees. The building has awnings to reduce glare, several large windows to utilize natural light and the insulation and siding are made from recycled materials. All of the appliances are energy-efficient.
