The old windows were scraped and rebuilt. I used the same curved brick technique for the arches above the windows and door as my original. I also added columns made of 1x2 slopes and tiles; the goal is to have these columns all the way to the roof. The columns took a few revisions to get just right. The one on the left actually wraps around the building and will connect to the other front. You can also see a lamp post in the back that adds a nice detail.
Modular Apartment, first floor detail: In the living room area you can see a dark green comfy chair, a copy of the owner's best friend's best-selling record 'Brick Fever', and a small wooden coffee table with a lamp on it. Note the yellow/dark green rug with fringes :)
Showing the sliding elevator doors. I really really wanted to make elevator doors that actually looked like elevator doors, and could slide open. Took me ages to get to this final solution.

Here is a picture of my recent Modular Apartment MOC next to some other official modular buildings. Thanks to my friend Elijah for letting me use his Detective's Office and Parisian Restaurant.
This is a modular axis that I'm developing for use in a portable 3D printer. It is light (without the motor) but very rigid.
The top and side walls can be removed for efficient modding. Modularity is the key to the Rhino concept.

A recent experiment with modular drawing. All sections drawn in 58 minutes. Starting with one drawing across a trifold, I used folds in subsequent drawings as seeds for other ones. Some patterns only appear when two sheets are folded and aligned.
There are some inaccuracies because I would occasionally draw across a fold by accident.
