Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. I simply loved the way the spring sunlight fell upon this young woman and her red hair. Enjoy!
Orange Beach House MOC is a comfortable hide-away by the sea. It's a split-level house built directly on the beach. The idea of sandy cliffs and ground terrace with a small pool came to me first and then the rest of the house emerged along the way.
Downstairs you find a livingroom, bedroom and bathroom. Upstairs you find a calm room with sea view, kitchen and study. Fully interiored.
The building technique used to create the beach was new to me, but I think it turned out well. I used lots of curved slopes...
The building process is further described on my Instagram page (@betweenbrickwalls). Link in bio.

Candid eye contact street photography from London, England. Captured in Hatton Garden where the world seems to be walking around with a business phone and a personal phone, unlike Glasgow where anyone with two phones is up to no good, perhaps. Enjoy!

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. On a freezing day in the city where the mood was dour and the light was dull. Enjoy!
2020.09.08 - THese modern condos or apartements must have a nice fiew from this side.. looking over the park and the St Lawrence River.. looks ideal.
Calmwater Cliff House is located on a cliff by the beach. Two floors with a terrace on each floor. Downstairs you find a spacious kitchen and dining area, a bathroom and home office. Upstairs you find a music corner with sea view, a bedroom and the main entrance.
As you see it´s a LEGO house and I´ve mainly used the colours black, dark tan, tan and reddish brown.
I wanted to make a modern home - in some way inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and the colours of the 20th century - updated to 21st century lifestyle.
Some dubious urban development in Mannheim Ludwigshafen in an equally dubious composition :)
At least the sky featured some nice colors.

Wohnraumerschließungsprojekt Luitpoldhafen in Mannheim/Ludwigshafen. In meinen Augen doch sehr zweifelhafte Industrieromantik. Chinesische Investoren sind dergleichen allerdings gewohnt und dürften noch am ehesten am Kauf interessiert sein.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Sometimes it is just all about a beautiful shape or texture - and here it is both. I just loved that curve in the hair from the scarf and the textures of her cosy outerwear, enjoy!
Sometimes, a huge construction emerges if things uncontrolled pile up for too long. While one wall is stacking up on the other, a slowly growing shadow starts casting on you. Finally, everything is growing a bit over your head.
Then quickly, you find yourself persisting in shock. The darker the shadow, the greater the helplessness and the smaller you feel.
But if you cannot see the end of the construction anymore, it might help to simply take a few steps back.
Because in the end, it’s often the lack of distance to something that allows it to grow over your head.
The front of Autumn Stream House MOC.
Autumn Stream House MOC is a modern home lying among the trees coloured by autumn. Underneath a small stream is living its own life.
This is a social home with a large and modern kitchen where you might gather around a freshly baked pizza. Or you might sit in the lounge sipping on tea in front of the fire.
Upstairs you find a sleeping loft, a fully equipped bathroom, a bird (or star) watching corner and a balcony.

Diversity is what we have in common, and therefore living together shifts to be a noble art. Regularly, the early enthusiasm gives way to reality when its honest side starts showing up.
What is easy to be overseen initially can lead to built-up anger over time. However, criticism doesn’t stop at yourself. As a consequence, the focus shifts, and judgmental behavior grabs hold of the situation. Eventually, trivialities goad each other until the circumstances escalate.
Living together reflects who you are but also who you are not. Not admitting that this difference has a right to exist, means that one undermines the other’s right to be. However, this does not imply that living at cross purposes is a smart answer to this problem.
If joy shall come back, it might sometimes be vital not to take oneself too seriously. Though taking a step back may appear to be the hardest move, it is precisely that what offers the needed space to keep living enthusiastically together.

This photo features the buildings of Punta Paitilla in Panama City. The patterns of the windows, air conditioners, columns, and curtains are visible. Most importantly, it's understood that each of these windows houses what its inhabitants consider valuable. Moreover, the appearance of air conditioner compressors is often overlooked if they provide cooling during the hottest parts of the day.
Checkered Tan House is a spacious summer residence with light colours. It's built on top of a creek and is surrounded by green, bright green and lime green foliage. A small patio is carved out in the rocks. Fully furnished of course.
This house has similarities both with one of my earliest builds Autumn Stream House and my box-shaped Coral House.
My aim was to keep the house simple, creating dynamics only with the combination of house bodies and windows. This makes a contrast to the green surroundings of the house.
Exterior.
This house has a number of cuboid bodies linked together by a dark blue tiled hallway hosting a spiral staircase. Large glass windows offer a view of the ground floor and roof garden. Solar panels and home grown vegetables contribute to a sustainable way of living.

Whitebrick Sand House is characterized by straight lines, glass and sandy colours. Placed in desertlike environment, yet close to civilization. Somewhere to relax.
A modern high-rise stands tall against a backdrop of endless forest, its sharp lines and vivid green facade contrasting with the softer tones of trees and suburban houses below. The glass balconies reflect fragments of life, while the grid-like design adds order to the vertical rise. Between city and nature, this building becomes a striking marker of human presence in the landscape — a geometric statement reaching above the treetops.
Modern living at split levels. Three kinds of sections - striped, brown and olive green.
In Olive Sand House I combine the the desertlike surroundings and olive green/tan colour scheme of Whitebrick Sand House with the striped architecture of for example Green Rock House, Calmwater Cliff House and Vanilla House that has in some way become my trademark.
A view of the Chips Building designed by Alsop Architects which is between Old Mill Street and Ashton Canal in East Manchester, built on land which was stood Ancoats Hospital and a old mill, the building comprises three staggered blocks of nine storeys with 142 apartments.
Modern understanding of progress frequently equates to the expectation of increase. We aim for increasing assets or appreciation to satisfy our fear of loss. Hence, things speed up, which is why there is steadily more to achieve, earn, or optimize. As growth is on everyone’s lips, fast motion seems unquestionable.
When there is no enough, the setting has to adapt to the prevailing dogma. As a result, humans seek to squeeze the world into a suit that is many sizes too small. However, without a doubt, pulling in the belly is insufficient because what is not supposed to fit cannot fit.
But when the idea of exceptional guides us, everything has to become more outstanding. On this fast ride, we don’t stop at ourselves. Accordingly, we are seeking for more, personal growth – the perfect me. As priorities shift, something got to give way. Thus, reality feels heavy when one puts too much strain on it.
And while standing on this bridge, the pace of the daily grid runs underneath my feet. Within all of these actions, the expectation of growth has given way to the indifference. A moment of standstill in the tugging speed of the time in which we live.
