beneath the surface of transit, silence breathes in geometry. a glass box anchors the void, holding stillness in its transparent grip while reflections ripple like echoes across polished stone. it’s not a station—it’s a cathedral of motion paused, where light draws the architecture’s secret lines and solitude becomes sublime.

Southeast Financial Center is a two-acre development in Miami, Florida, United States. It consists of a 765 feet (233 m) tall office skyscraper and its 15-story parking garage. It was previously known as the Southeast Financial Center (1984–1992), the First Union Financial Center (1992–2003) and the Wachovia Financial Center (2003–2011). In 2011, it retook its old name of Southeast Financial Center as Wachovia merged with Wells Fargo and moved to the nearby Wells Fargo Center.
When topped-off in August 1983, it was the tallest building south of New York City and east of the Mississippi River, taking away the same title from the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel, in Atlanta, Georgia. It remained the tallest building in the southeastern U.S. until 1987, when it was surpassed by One Atlantic Center in Atlanta and the tallest in Florida until October 1, 2003, when it was surpassed by the Four Seasons Hotel and Tower, also in Miami. It remains the tallest office tower in Florida and the fourth tallest building in Miami.
For my Styled Chic No. 1, I took this totally hip and modern room shot from Crate & Barrel. This hip and modern design is inspired by color and sophistication. This wedding suite contains an Invitation, belly band and RSVP card. I love working with different color palettes. I took the cream, black and purple tones as my palette. There are so many combination’s that can come from from this including the silver from the wall, but I wanted something a little different. I also took the pattern from the pillow and incorporated it on the belly band. Perfect!
I created a custom monogram to layer on the belly band to really give some punch and brand the couple. I used an ivory cream linen card stock to add some richness and flat printed them. These could just as well be letterpressed! I would pair these with gorgeous ivory cream envelopes and a custom rubber stamp. *wink
Here is the Wurth building revealed in it's entirety from the front. The back is shaped in a semi circle which is where I took the other colour image of this place. I wonder what the inside looks like. :) Near Guelph.
Architectural Harmony at Barcelona Airport - I captured this photograph while waiting in the first-floor lounge waiting for my flight to Brussels, captivated by the interplay of lines and shapes. Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, commonly known as Barcelona Airport, is the city’s international airport. The airport's design embodies a modern and functional approach, with terminal buildings that exhibit contemporary aesthetics and efficient layouts to cater to the high volume of passengers and air traffic. While functionality takes precedence over aesthetics, if one takes a closer look at the various shapes and lines, there is an undeniable beauty that emerges - Barcelona-El Prat Airport, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

The Riverside Museum in Glasgow is located on the banks of the River Clyde and is dedicated to transportation and travel. The museum building, designed by Zaha Hadid, has a distinctive, modern design with a zigzagging roof and a flowing, wave-like structure, symbolizing the river and Glasgow’s rich maritime history. Since its opening, the Riverside Museum has received many awards for its architecture and contribution to tourism and education - Glasgow, UK

The Campus Center building that was designed by Rem Koolhaas on the campus of The Illnois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
The campus was largely designed by the famous architect Mies van der Rohe, and Rem included photos of Mies van der Rohe into the Campus Center building.
captured at the santa ponça country club, where tennis and the traditional game of padel are played. it is also the venue for the annual atp tennis tournament in mallorca. the building was recently renovated by the gras architecture team. this photograph highlights the club's modern elegance, featuring a symmetrical view with reflections that create a visually captivating effect. the warm sunlight bathes the area in a golden glow, accentuating the clean lines and contemporary design, while the outdoor seating invites relaxation and enjoyment of the picturesque surroundings.
I was drawn to the repetitive patterns and the smooth curvature of this modern architectural design. The black-and-white treatment highlights the interplay of light and shadow, transforming this structure into abstract dunes that seem both artificial and natural.

The Viennese store, spread over three floors, exemplifies the brand's ambition to unite commerce and art, attracting both customers and tourists in a street where luxury brands and architecturally important buildings are concentrated, in a busy tourist and shopping area.

this black-and-white photograph captures the sweeping architecture of a vast hallway, where repetitive cutouts and curving lines draw the viewer into a rhythmic flow. a single figure seated in the distance adds a poignant human element, highlighting the scale and solitude of the space. the dramatic contrast and geometric patterns transform the scene into an almost surreal moment, as if time is suspended within the architectural rhythm. it’s an invitation to pause and contemplate within the interplay of light, shadow, and form.
