I couldn't get over having worked so hard to light this sucker up, only to have the leds die on me before I took pictures.
So i took a few hours and redid it all again for the 4th time!
I'm wiring in series circuit. So the leads have to go from + to - in this type of connection. So what i kept doing was wiring just 1 connection positive to positive. when i noticed and swapped it, i finally got stable lights.
I also just used the same color for everything this time! As i think i had leds of differing voltages the 1st time when they all blew?
It's not painted or light blocked as i just wanted to attempt to light this kit up.
Photographs of my friends son, who wants to go into modeling. All taken on the same day, some using studio lighting, but mostly outdoor, using natural lighting. Personally I think he will go far! Would love to know your opinion on firstly my first Portfolio shoot, how did I do and secondly, how do you think he will do as a male model? If you view, please leave a comment, thanks.

I Went on a Portrait Workshop the other evening to learn a bit more about shooting portraits in a studio environment. This shot was of Leonore (model). I purposefully set the aperture to 2.8 to see what the result would be. I managed to do little post processing to highlight the more visible parts of the face.

As promised, today we were in Hamburg for the next photo shooting :) With Oliver, Annika and the pretty blonde model Anju I was in a large park called "Planten un Blomen". There we have taken amazing photos... And because the fall is so beautiful, tomorrow we drive to the next shooting :)

First page of "How to Print: A Descriptive Catalogue of the Celebrated Model Printing Press." The cover is loose and I removed it for the scan; it was published by J.W. Daughaday, Philadelphia. The back cover shows a medal awarded at the Sydney International Exhibition, 1879, so this catalogue probably dates to that year.
