Too often we model wear so heavy styling , so incredible make up and our photo are so stretched beyond limits in photoshop .... that I felt the need to regain possession of a simpler dimension .
So that is simply me :)
A good example of how difficult mu Canon Power Shot ELPH 110 HS is to focus at macro setting. Even thoug the Model T was in the green box, it is the stuff behind it that is in sharpest focus.
Thisis a re-work of a photo I took at my first-ever model shoot. I initially posted this straight out of the camera. But this represents my beginner's attempt at cropping, sharpening and teeth whitening.. It looks like it's oversharpened but tha'ts just because I grabbed it from flickr, fixed it and reloaded so it's now just a tiny file enlarged too much.

Page Morgan is the first professional model I have worked with. I contacted her on OMP (OneModelPlace) when I saw that she had been in a theater production that Allison had been in (The Laramie Project). She responded and we got together for an end of the season swimsuit shoot in September.

Modeled by my friend.
The fabric is a vintage piece from a reclaimed kimono. I made it into this flower shape one petal at a time.
The big heart-in-mouth steps with making these models is doing the line between the white upper and aluminium lower body of the fuselage and then beginning to the apply the transfers. I'm just beginning to dip a tentative toe into the latter ...
My model of HMCS Ojibwa, done except for the display case. This is a resin craftman kit in 1/350 scale.
