This photo is a copy of a RPPC taken in Glencoe Ontario in 1908. The people in the automobile were identified on the reverse by the son of one of the men in the front seat. They are his father Charles Ernest Turner and his Uncle Roy Siddall. Standing behind the vehicle is his Grandfather Joseph Siddall all of Glencoe Ontario. Thanks to friends and automotive historians the car has been identified as an early built Walkerville Ontario (now part of Windsor) Canadian 1905 Ford Model C. The leather issued 1905 license on the front #94 tells us that it was owned new by T.R. Atkinson of Simcoe Ontario. There was a total of 117 Model C's built in Canada starting on Oct 10 1904. These Model C's were the first Ford automobiles built in Canada and would lead to over 50 years of Ford of Canada located in Windsor. The 1st built Model C was sold to C.D. Burdick of London Ontario. It is only a speculation however I suspect that the Siddall family was trying this "used" vehicle out with perhaps the thought of making a purchase. This could explain the importance of recording this moment 3 years after the car was sold new.

- I’ve made minor changes to front grill and headlights in order to make them fit better and have proper placement, which also makes the bonnet bevel lower and blend more to the front.

- The exhaust pipe has been changed into light grey colour.
