I said that there would be more cars. This one was made about 1920. I never saw one of these on the road when I was a kid (birth 1938)....but the Model A was just about standard transportation in my younger years. My grandpa had one.

The Ford Model T (colloquially known as the Tin Lizzie and Flivver) was an automobile produced by Henry Ford's Ford Motor Company from 1908 through 1927.

The Ford Model T was named the world's most influential car of the twentieth century in an international poll.

The standard 4-seat open tourer of 1909 cost US$850 (about £180 at the time, equivalent to $20,300/£9,000 today),[19] when competing cars often cost $2,000-$3,000 (equivalent to $48,000-$72,000 today)

A very short wheelbase. With all that power this one looks like it could be a handful! Photographed at a car show in the 1980s.

I love that this Model T is as tall as these SUVs but looks much more fragile.

This may have been John Mathews' first car which he is proudly showing off to his siblings. The photograph was taken on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1926. Late for a Michigan snowfall.

The Ford Model T (known as the Tin Lizzie) was an automobile produced by Henry Ford's Ford Motor Company from 1908 through 1927. The Model T set 1907 as the historic year that the automobile came into popular usage. It is generally regarded as the first affordable automobile, the car that "put America on wheels"; some of this was because of Ford's innovations, including assembly line production instead of individual hand crafting. The first production Model T was built on September 27, 1908, at the Piquette Plant in Detroit, Michigan.

The Ford Model T was named the world's most influential car of the twentieth century in an international poll.
