I went to see the Stick Martin Show the other night. They are a pretty good local band. I saw them once before, and they have been really good both times. My favorite part was when the lead singer started jamming out on a slide whistle. It was radical. If you want to check them out go to www.thestickmartinshow.com/ and listen to some tunes. Lowest lake water at the lakehouse in Granbury that I have seen. I was able to take a walk on the "beach" along those rocks. There was a turtle skeleton and a crab skeleton on there.

Jag fastnar mer än ofta i att tänka om det jag gör är rätt eller fel. Inte moraliskt sett, utan som om det fanns ett rätt satt att göra saker och ting.

Oftast tänker jag på om mina förebilder skulle godkänna det jag gör. Som om de skulle fatta bättre beslut än mig, åt mig. Som att alla skulle peka finger at mig när jag fattade ett dåligt beslut. Vilket händer. Ibland.

Med tiden har jag lärt mig att bry mig mindre, men det är fortfarande jobbigt med den malande insikten om att det inte finns något rätt sätt att fatta beslut. Det finns bara att göra det bästa av konsekvenserna av sitt handlande. För väldigt få är det förunnat att se in i framtiden. Och därför ska man inte peka finger åt de som det gått dåligt för. Och framförallt ska man heja på dem som försöker göra sitt bästa av den lott som de fått.

Jag ska försöka sluta göra rätt, säga rätt och tycka rätt.

Jag ska försöka göra bra saker istället. Det verkar roligare. Och så verkar det hämma mig lite mindre.
