Tonight my son and I attended Parent/Teacher night at his school.
We walked down the hall to his class and there was a poster advertising open auditions for the school's production of 'Clueless' and at the bottom it read, "BOYS NEEDED TOO!"
The following discussion ensued:
e. - "Hey Jaim, why don't you audition for the school play?"
James - "Well, I've seen the movie and I'm not really interested."
e. - "Do you have an interest in acting? Have you started to take Drama yet?"
James - "I like acting but I'd rather take photography."
e. - "Oh yeah?"
James - "Yeah, I just want to capture and live moments, not just live them and lose them."
Okay...all the biased father / chip-off-the-old-block business aside...is this not an awesome photography quote for a 13 year old?

One of the many advertising buses around in 1974 was this WMPTE Daimler Fleetline 3480 (BON 480C), it was in the livery of Barker and Dobson's Everton mints, although 'Pay as you enter' 3480 has a conductor. The striking vehicle is rounding the island at the junction of Highfield Road and Robin Hood Lane in Hall Green Birmingham, to the right of the bus is a bus stop for the long withdrawn 29 service from the city centre to Yardley Wood station. Behind the bus was a fine Victorian house, now a block of flats.
A little VW fun, never saw anyone inside this pool though... :-)

An original Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) Mobile Lounge in 1965. The Mobile Lounges were designed by Chrysler specifically for use at Washington Dulles International Airport. They were intended to take passengers from the Main Terminal to aircraft parked at the midfield service area. The idea was that aircraft would park near the runway and save taxiing fuel and passengers would avoid walking down long terminal concourses. In this era, airline timetables noted that departure times at Dulles were Mobile Lounge departure times.
The concept was superseded by the construction of the Midfield Terminals.
