Unfortunately, this will not fit in my current photo setup so I had to improvise.
This is an approximate 3x upscaled version of the Classic Space Set #462 - Mobile Rocket Launcher. Original reference picture is here.
I tried to stay true to the original set, by maintaining all of the original functions. The only color differences are the trans-clear headlights on both the truck and trailer, and the trans-yellow windshield. All light bley parts except for two light grey hinge plates and computer console slopes.
For each 2x2 round rocket brick on the original, I used 3 4x4 round bricks. The wheels are 3x larger, if not more, and the overall stud length is almost exactly 3x as long. All WIP photos for this project are now public and can be found in my Classic Space set.
This will be on display with the original set at the Polk State College Art Gallery from October 31st to December 9th for a GFLUG art show titled "The Art of Play".

An officer of Rochdale Borough Police poses with his motor vehicle outside police headquarters.
The force was based – as were many at the time – in the local town.
We think this image dates from World War 2 as the vehicle’s headlamps are shielded for us in the blackout.
Does anybody recognise the make of vehicle?

There's bikes and cyclists everywhere in Oxford, you don't have to wait long until someone whizzes past. So thought i'd have a quick go at a panning shot. It wasn't until I saw the resulting image that I realised he was using his phone at the same time - mobile communication!
I like my phone images to be different. something of a surprise when I open the phone and I object to images that are selling something. There is an album here with 500 or so examples. www.flickr.com/photos/jacobs_ian/albums/72157711897629218
Finally got around to bricking up one of these today. Really like the basic framework eduty created.
Weather prevented a decent picture of the bricked up version so here is a rendered version instead.
The former 7054 survived deregulation due to it being attached to the training fleet as a mobile classroom. Now numbered A231 in the ancillary fleet it is seen at Bennett Street yard in 1993. It lasted until Stagecoach days and was then sold on, it appearing at the Trans Lancs rally at Heaton Park in 1997 wearing a blue and white based livery.

I just really, really wanted to use those green heads in this piece. (As a result, it falls apart from just looking at it too intensely.)
...Any of the other turtles might have been a better choice for a build, as I found I have a pretty narrow selection of violet pieces - but Donatello is my favorite.
