So with the cool weather and week of rainy days, the crysalis is not emerging. I uncover the lawnmower on pretty mornings so the warmth of the spring air gets to him, but no direct sun. It is a good thing he did not emerge while our weather was bad. I thus have decided the length of this stage may depend on weather conditions, a variable which allows him to remain safely sheltered until conditions are just right.
has everybody prefer shooting with their mobile than with a real camera ?
is this the dawn of film photography ?

Okedoke, a picture of my desk at work. Just got the apple cinema display so i though i'd go feng shui and create a nice working environment... (Not normal for a coder i know!)
wow, it's so hard to take a picture of a moving mobile! out of the 30 pictures i took, none were completely sharp...

I used to have a few T-Mobile prepaid phones, but sold both of the ones I had...it seems T-Mobile is popular on eBay!
Also pictured on the right above the Motorola C139 Tracfone is a car phone. Commnet Cellular (http://www.commnetwireless.com/) looks like it provides mobile phones abroad the US.

These photos were taken at a "Mobile Meet" at the Hucclecote Centre, in Gloucester. This was a forum for the staff of mobile libraries from different local authorities. My role on the day was to demonstrate a computerised lending system for mobile libraries based on a hand held Psion Organiser which read library bar code numbers for transfer to a PC and then on to the online library housekeeping system. Date - around 1991.
Very rare British van in the Netherlands. This van was converted by Dormobile into a mobile pancake shop.

Following the arrival of new Bristol VRs at East Kent in May 1978 a quantity of older AEC Regent Vs was withdrawn. One of these was Herne Bay's 7794 (6794 FN). Not long after it was sent to Canterbury Works where it underwent conversion to a mobile office for use by East Kent and Maidstone & District for various M.A.P projects. Transferred to domestic stock it was numbered P147. Stood down from this role it was found in storage at Westwood garage when I visited in November 1984.

The arched casements of Fort Morgan which guards the approaches into Mobile Bay. Construction began after the war of 1812 to protect the gulf ports. Fort Morgan defenders unsuccessfully tried to bar the Union Fleet from entering the bay in 1864 during the Civil War.

Yesterday the chain of my bike broke again, while I was biking really fast, and I had to jump off at full speed to avoid crashing into cars and stuff and to recover the greasy old oil-bleedin' chain from the middle of the road...not sure why, it's dead now and I'll have to get a now one today, it was some kind of deep-seated biker reflex I guess, never leave any parts behind, haha :)
