not that the drinks list wasn't extensive... it was just also expensive. and i suppose that my last day in manchester for goodness knows how long would have been a good excuse to splash out and, you know, order a soda or something with my lunch, but meh. peob and i split a glass of water.

next to me was a shopping bag with a punnet of fresh strawberries to share with my hosts that evening, and provisions for my trip the next morning, but more on trip provisions later.
zinc was very nice. probably a place i'd like to go to for a full-on meal one day. peob felt very comfortable there, knowing well that he was of course the coolest person there.
