Week 4/52
In trying out my new Demb Flip-it, I hung up a VERY wrinkled sheet (way to go.) and a chair. I asked Dakota to hop up into the chair, which she did. She then gave me THIS face because there were other (and apparently far more important) things that she wanted to do instead of posing for me.
I'm using this for my 4th week because its not Dakota's normal grinning expression. She can have a 'tude, I promise you!
A friend got me some mixels form the US! =D
Those are fun little guys, and their new mini ball joints are amazingly useful!
A mix of the best italian pastry: miniature sfogliatelle and cannoli filled with ricotta cheese and decorated with candied cherries and fresh soft babà with rum.
100% italian and delicious!

Last week my parents lost my fathers brother and friend to cancer. It's very hard for them especially for my father. He is very sad and down by this loss.
Last wednesday, after the funeral, we went to my parents home. While we were talking I was observing their dog Juup. More than normal he was running and jumping through the living room with his toy. Behaving like a real clown.
Everytime he layed his toy at my fathers feet trying to get his attention. And he did get his attention. For a little moment I saw a smile coming through on my fathers face just like the moment he was trying to steal his cookie!
With my mother it's a different story. He simply lays his head on her knee and look at her with his beautiful eyes. She puts her hand out and start petting him and a smile is coming through on her face too.
Thanks Juup for making this difficult time a little bit more bareble for them.....
Day 36
Lots and lots of manual cement mixing to pour footings and beams at the water filtration plant we are working on building.

Essa semana resolvi fazer um pra combinar com meu adesivo de Pavão da loja Esmalte Bonito.
Eu procurei tons que combinassem com adesivo e as cores ficaram tão lindas. Amei o resultado!
