This 300mm zoom VR lens is very good.

A mistake! but I liked the look of this. Accidentally combined two different subjects from three pictures and this is the result. Yes, you can see some bits of ghosts that have intruded, but apart from that on first glance it looks pretty convincing. The road is not part of the castle in case you were wondering ....!
Sophie made a mistake in 2010. She took this little christmas bird off the tree and pulled out his feathers. The bird felt terrible with no feathers. I think Sophie did also when she saw the mess. I think the bird also has a broken leg. SOPHIE !!!!!!!!!!!
The Carlisle Thundering Herd football team, lost Friday's non-conference game against Susquehanna Twp by a score of 35-6. The team had some good moments, but not enough to overcome their mistakes. The team needs some JUICE! If you've got JUICE, you're USEFUL. If you don't have JUICE, you're USELESS. Every team member needs to "DO YOUR JOB" and be more aggressive on both sides of the football. Do that and the winning will take care of itself.
there's a photo of mine in the current issue of bass guitar magazine (the photo of nick from death cab). after looking in 3 newsagents & 1 major bookstore for this mag, i was glad to finally find it, only to look inside and find out that they had miscredited my photo.
and don't even get me started on the fact that they're calling death cab emo.

bought a scanner for my birthday and did a few quick test scans on some negatives I shot last year with a Mamiya C220 TLR. looks like I had some trouble with the parallax on this one. sorry Matt...
Mamiya C220, 80mm. Tri-X 400. Don't remember the exposure. Normal development in D76 1:1. Scanned on Epson V500
This bead started out as something completely different, but I wasn't concentrating ... so a bit of Damage Control later and I'm rather pleased!
Featuring New Yorker cartoonists Matt Diffee, David Sipress, Zach Kanin and David Borchart. Hosted by David Rees.
We're rounding up cartoonists, putting them into teams and letting them battle it out the only way cartoonists know how to battle—by drawing cartoons! The format is simple: The audience provides the topics and the cartoonists let it rip. It's like Iron Chef, but the secret ingredient is punch lines instead of asparagus. Cartoonists don't often perform in public without the benefit of their usual crutches: a comfortable desk, oodles of time, bathtubs full of whiskey. So this is a rare opportunity.
Mistakes are human. I love that this carving mistake was acknowledged but allowed to remain. It is my favorite bench by the Central Library for that reason.
"Imperfection is interesting"
This follows the rule of thirds as the lipstick and the left side of the girls face is on these lines. The bright colours of the lipstick draw attention to it most; it also draws attention due to it being in focus.
