there are some mistake, which turns out to be better than intended. this is one of those. all i wanted to capture was the reflection of light on moving water in slow shutter.
just a jerk due to a sneeze (excuse me) turned out to be this :)
i waited a long time to publish this, then decided to go ahead.
i hope you sneezing part will not bother you, i guarantee that none of my sneezing is there in the picture, haha.
thank you for viewing it. i appreciate your kind words and thanks in advance.
I was lying down trying to get a good photo of the frosty lawn one morning in June, when I pressed the shutter by mistake. But I found when checking the photo I liked the bokeh and blur produced by the Lensbaby and the sun in my eyes!!
For the Through the Lens theme Week 26 of Lucky Mistake.
This week's theme is Out of Focus (OOF), and the criteria requires "everything" be out of focus to my dismay. This type of photography is really not my thing... It's a little too abstract for my liking. I feel like I'm posting one of my mistakes.... Anyway, here is a photo that is suppose to look dreamy or sleepy....
My mind wants to interpret
All my dreams.
My heart wants to love
All my dreams.
My soul wants to fulfil
All my dreams.
– Sri Chinmoy
The rain is gonna fall, the sun is gonna shine,
The wind is gonna blow, the water's gonna rise
He said, when that day comes, look into my eyes
No one's giving up quite yet,
We've got too much to lose
And I'll carry you all the way,
When you say you're fine
But you're still young, and out of line
When all I need's to turn around,
To make it last, to make it count
I ain't gonna make the same mistakes
That put my aunt in her grave
I don't wanna be alone

Thanks!!!
This one was a happy mistake. But I like how it turned out.
I had the settings on the camera positioned for photographing some flowers in my garden at a little distance and forgot to set them back to manual for macro photos. The DOF is really thin but I think it turned out to be a neat image.

Everybody makes mistakes, that's why they put rubbers on the ends of pencils. This weeks Macro Mondays entry for 'Stationery'.
BNSF 9277 heads west through Brainerd, MN with Superior coal empties back in March 2005. The 9277 was painted into H1 by mistake IIRC, but looked great to me. Lots of interesting consists could be put together by BNSF when DC ruled the northern coal trains. I chased this particular leader from Tamarack to Pillager on the Brainerd Sub.
The Northern Pacific Center owners had completed taking down a couple of buildings here allowing for clear shots of westbounds. The BNSF MofW shops are above the trailing Oakway. They remain open and have about 100 employees in Brainerd.
If someone makes a mistake at work, that person has to buy a cake or pastries to the group.
Old rule, my mistake today.
"Falando sério, é bem melhor você parar com essas coisas; de olhar pra mim com olhos de promessas, depois sorrir como quem nada quer. Você não sabe mas é que eu tenho cicatrizes que a vida fez; e tenho medo de fazer planos, de tentar e sofrer outra vez. "

Taken on a very wet day in Glencoe last year. I recorded the track called "Mistakes" Which would work as an ending to something
I make mistakes. Tons of them in fact. And of course, I don't always post them. Although far from what I had originally intended when I shot it, I thought upon review today that it was beautiful and quite captivating. Perhaps in this form, it is even a bit more compelling as we have to reach into our imagination to fathom it. Take it for what it is and embrace the mistake!

The grain/distortion in this shot is caused by driving from one area to the next and alowing your lens to warm up with you during the ride in the car.
Photoguy mistake #27!

Artfully Done? Hell, no! I was simply too stupid too keep used rolls of film carefully separated from fresh ones.
Tonal contrast and conversion to BW was added by means of Snapseed, overlay of frames on slide film accomplished by stupidity / double exposure.
Took me decades to start liking the result :-)
This isn't the image I intended to do as an out come. First I tried to sketch bit of mountains in the backdrop then bit of grass and few flowers . It was a soft image I intended to make . A blend of a shot and part of a drawing . I started colouring it on acrylic but as i went further the image was getting stronger and harsh . I was also disrupted many times too which didn't help at all . It 's nice to have something to blame on to eh when mistakes happens . Well ,I was kind of disappointed by the first look but I felt sorry to discard it as I spent nearly an hour on it ... then decided to continue come what may , drifted on and it all came out as surreal image as this .Not the one in my dreams every night though , never happened even once .lol
Have used mixed media as pencils ,pens ( ordinary one like the Barclays give away, lol ),acrylic paint ( i love this medium as always ) , digital pictures and bit of digital tweaking .

One of those days I do not check my camera parameters and only when I return to Cuba I notice this was shot at ISO 2000. What a rocky mistake.
Uno de esos días donde vi el momento y comencé a disparar sin revisar los parámetros de la cámara y solo cuando regrese a casa note que mi ISO estaba a 2200. Error de novato al parecer nunca he dejado de ser

This is how a whole batch of photos turned out - I had the thing set to P by mistake and they all came out hideously over exposed. This was about the best of the bunch, you can just about make out that its a bird.
This www.flickr.com/photos/69157754@N00/2992376676/ is the best I got out of Photoshop with one of the other photos.
My only advice tonight is: When everything else fails, EMBRACE YOUR MISTAKES !
I took a 4x5 Graflex for a stroll downtown today, wide angle lens, hand held. This was after months of not shooting anything in the street, by choice and necessity (I am still limping badly). So, I did - everything I could do - wrong.
Out of a Graflex magazine of 6 negatives I managed to fog three, the other three, I double exposed twice or three times ( I lost count).
Back in my darkroom, I threw the three surviving negatives, all together, in an overly hot developer soup, left them there and went to make myself a coffee. An unspecified amount of time later, I pulled them from the developer, I under-fixed them, under-washed them and just chucked them on the kitchen window to dry. This is my favorite one of the lot.

This was most dangrous area of the trek, where trek was just above the river which comes from Saif-ul-Maluk and if you slips from there you will be in the river so no mistake!!!
When will I learn to stop me making the same mistakes again
Same mistakes again, for you?
When will I learn to lock my heart so it doesn't break again, no?
Doesn't break again, in two
I should've known, should've known by now
That I was always gonna come back around, see
Back in the day you know you let me down
Thought maybe I finally figured you out, 'cause
We said that things would be different
But all that turns out to be fiction
Breaking dishes in the kitchen
Walking on glass of pain
You say it's space that you needed
I said, "Well fuck it I'm leaving"
But history keeps on repeating
When will I learn to stop me making the same mistakes again
Same mistakes again, for you
When will I learn to lock my heart so it doesn't break again, no?
Doesn't break again, in two
When will I learn that I, I can do better
I can do better, much better than you?
When will I learn to stop me making the same mistakes again?
Over and over again, over and over again
I'm all out of new words to say (Words to say)
Running on empty, out of reasons to stay (To stay)
My friends told me it would go this way
They call me stupid when I say that you've changed, but
You said that things would be different
But all that turns out to be fiction
History keeps on repeating
When will I learn to stop me making the same mistakes again
Same mistakes again, for you?
When will I learn to lock my heart so it doesn't break again, no?
Doesn't break again, in two
When will I learn that I, I can do better
I can do better, much better than you?
When will I learn to stop me making the same mistakes again?
Over and over again, over and over again
I should know better, I should know better
I should know better, tell me why, yeah
I can't remember, I can't remember
The way he hurts me every time
When will I learn that I, I can do better
I can do better, much better than you?
When will I learn to stop me making the same mistakes again?
Over and over again, over and over again
When will I learn to stop me making the same mistakes again
Same mistakes again, for you?
When will I learn to lock my heart so it doesn't break again, no?
Doesn't break again, in two
I don't even know what happened but this is an accidental triple exposure straight from my film camera. I know it's mega grainy, but there is something about this that intrigues me. Happy Thursday everyone :) Pentax ME super 35mm f/1.4
