This picture is for the group Happy Caturday and this week the theme is "In".
I had another picture of Elijah looking in the mirror but this one with his tongue sticking out cracked me up. Maybe he's getting tired of being followed by the paparazzi. :))
Il bellissimo laghetto Coldai, sul massiccio del monte Civetta, ha dei colori straordinari... ma ancora più bello diventa quando il cielo vi si specchia e aggiunge particolari suggestivi

This is an old shot however it is one of my favorite images. The band is "The Bent Penny Band Revival" and I have shot for them at differing times over the years. What I love about this shot is the mirror reflection because she seems to be looking at herself, though she is not and he is out of the shot and only reflected in the mirror. And I have always thought it is a cool image. On this evening I was photographing the Diamond and Denim Ball at the Rotary Club in Richmond, Kentucky.

Shot taken for Saturday Self Challenge 31/05/2025 - Mirrors .
Well one idea was to use the mirror on the wall in the hall reflecting a giant map opposite of Cornwall in 1826/7 - a print No. 498 of 1,000 . This did not work because of the low light and as soon as any light was used it made to much intrusion into the shot - that was plan B so it is back to plan A . The shot was taken last weekend while I had some time to do so . Out to Spring Grove Ponds where I have seen plenty of reflections mirroring scenes on the surface of the water - But , the wind was brisk and the surface was quite broken by the wind !!
However , the smaller lower pond was a bit more sheltered and more of a chance for a shot . I took a number of views and I think this one fits the bill the most as the reflections stand out the most . I have presented this in monochrome as the reflections mirrored on the surface of the water are clearest and I hope this fits the bill for the challenge .

This was our last adventure during weekdays with my son before back to school.
We hiked with my kids to see this beautiful view of the Mt Hood.
It was a great hot summer day we will remember forever.
My kids ended playing in the water before returning. So much fun!

I had fun with this Flickr Smile on Saturday mirror theme at a favorite antiques store in Ft. Collins, Colorado. This old-timey shaving mirror, complete with brush and soap cup, caught my eye.
We have had a couple of really sunny days so we were able to get out into the Forest, though it was very soggy out there. This isn't a pond but a flood. We have gone from zero temperatures of last week to 10 degrees today.
