This place is called Kirana Hills (a place near Sargodha, Pakistan). A lot of blasting goes on in this area to gather stones for the construction. Due to heavy blasting the hills have transformed into some really interesting shapes and due to some phenomenon (unknown to me) water level has also risen. There used to be no water here previously.

ANSH 122 (8) shoot the image in the mirror

I was creating a photograph using the reflection of a mirror. I decided to include some old camera's in the picture.

Experimenting with sunflower shots done with the Samyang mirror reflex lens. This is a prime lens fixed at F6.3. The two mirrors of this type of lens reflect the light before it goes through glass lenses and, then, reaches the sensor. The result is a 'softer' image.

A mirror image of the Roosevelt Bridge reflects on the water of the St. Lucie River in downtown Stuart, Florida.

East Village, NYC

This photo reminded me of a poem by Marilyn Nelson that was printed on the back of my MTA MetroCard a few years ago...

A strange beautiful woman

met me in the mirror

the other night.

Hey,

I said,

What you doing here?

She asked me

the same thing.

We visited Mirror Lake while we were camping around in Utah recently. It was a beautiful small lake. There were lots of people fishing the shores and several nonmotorized boats in the still water. We hiked around the lake as far as we could. The lake path is not completed so we had to double back due to the construction workers and equipment.

From a lock-down walk on a Saturday afternoon at the harbour area in Aahus, Denmark - January 16, 2021.

Baby Brian has another go at passing the Mirror Test (this is his sixth attempt), but he can't work out what that other snail is up to.

The Mirror Test is a behavioral technique that attempts to determine whether an animal possesses the ability of visual self-recognition - the traditional method to assess self-awareness. Few animals have actually passed the Mirror Test, and as yet, snails are not among them.

For Smile on Saturday theme 'Reflection on White'.

No snails were harmed in the making of this photograph.
