The Re-ment Addicts Group did a Color Theme Challenge quite some time ago, but I didn't have time to do it. I was inspired by all of the great photos they did, so now that I have a lot of time on my hands, I decided it would be fun to do. I am going to do the whole rainbow, and probably post way more photos than I should!
These are like pieces from different sets (Let's Cook/Cooking, Tea Time Tableware & Mother's Kitchen, I think).
Now that I see the nested bowls in macro, I realize they're not the same Pyrex "Amish" design, but can be matched just the same ;p
ScotRail 43182 roars out of Arbroath past the now closed Kerr's Miniature Railway, leading the 1T26 Aberdeen to Glasgow QS service.
Sycamore leaf. Backlit with crossed polarized lighting. Main light source: LED screen. Camera accessories: Circular polarising filter; miniature tripod. I think it is remarkable for the range of colours expressed in a single leaf.
This year I was assigned to host our doll club meeting for September. I prepared these handmade gifts to give away to the other 7 members of the club. I had to make them when my baby took her nap during the day or late at night when she’s in bed. For a whole month, I scanned, took pics, photoshopped, prototyped, printed and assembled these paper miniatures. I only made the ones you see in the pictures, and had our club members make the doll boxes as a craft project for the meeting. All effort was worth it seeing how ecstatic our club members were upon seeing their gifts.
I got the idea from Rogier Corbeau’s work during the Barbie Convention. He created this really awesome store diorama for the silent auction which sold for $3,400! Thanks to Jim Taylor too for posting his work on facebook for me to oogle at.
The shelves were made by etsy seller Mihail.
*I do not have plans of selling these as I don't want to get in trouble with mattel, but once I find the time, I am considering uploading some of the graphics so you can make them yourselves.
This picture was taken in Dayton, Ohio at Wegerzyn Gardens with my 135mm lens + 12mm extension tube. For better view use the light box.

The kitchen wagon fits perfectly in the lot reserved for the chair in the counter, if you tilt it's wheels the other way.

Yellow miniature roses found in the garden during our trip. I was very lazy to change to a macro lens, so I use a normal zoom to shoot most of the shots including bees, butterfly or flowers. How is it?:)

I was looking for this set by Epoch for quite a while until I finally got one. I also picked up some extra chairs because each table only comes with 1 chair. The set is pretty tiny, the chair backs are a little over 2 inches high. I don't know why I needed this set so much, in fact, I have another set on the way LOL

Handsculpted in 1/12th scale. My hands were shaking after this photoshoot, balancing the heavy dslr in one hand and the light as a feather cake stand with tartlets all ready to fall over on the other.

I took this picture in Cologne, Germany (please don't miss my 360 degrees
Panorama of Cologne). I've used the "tilt shift process" (selective focus) to
simulate a miniature scene... :) As always, thanks for watching!!

Miniature
A poem by Katie Gabrielle
Miniature You
Miniature We
People look funny
From Way Up High
Twist and Turn
The Camera Lens
Focus In
Focus about
Where the H*** did the Pilot go?
He leaped out fool
And he can't fly
Now he's a pancake
That fell from the sky
Don't cry for him
He added color to the scenery
Red Yellow Blue
And add a few screams
Drama Drama
Twist and Turn
Crash and Burn
It's fun being up here in the jet
When the miniature world
Looks tiny yet
Don't be dumb and open
That door
Because you won't
Land on a pillow
In the Miniature world
You'll be dead

I'll Be Sailing to the Open Blue Sea
A poem by Peter S. Quinn
I'll be sailing to the open blue sea
Where the silvery waves are going out
With the wings of fresh morning that's quite free
Through the daydreaming without any doubt
Every hope shall be rolling tall and brave
Within billows so high in the shaking
Through rippling of waves the ocean gave
To the in fjords and gales in their making
We're winners to new corners of the world
To the faraway islands and their shore
With every circling wave that there whirled
And are in need of fresh dreams to explore
I'll be sailing to hope in my open boat
Bringing music from my heart that I wrote
The Mini Whoodle is a delightful, spunky hybrid breed created by crossing the Miniature Poodle with the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Originating in the USA around the 1980s, Mini Whoodles are playful and cheerful companions that require low to moderate exercise. They make wonderful house pets, as they are intelligent, curious dogs that love human companionship. With their outgoing and affectionate personalities, they can quickly become beloved members of any family
