My friend and I went to Long Beach to walk around and see what we could capture. We arrived at 6pm and decided to take pictures of city buildings ( see image #18:MiniatureModel ). Once the sun we drove across the Los Angeles River to capture a night shot of the Queen Mary.

An alternate version of a previous tilt shift.

"To create a good miniature effect to your photographs, shoot the subjects from a high angle (like from a plane that is in the air); this creates the illusion of looking down at a miniature model. A camera equipped with a tilt-shift lens, which simulates a shallow depth of field or a tilt-shift photo-app. is essentially all you need to start." ~Tomitheos
