Music (Open link in new tab) / Música (abrir en nueva pestaña): Blackmore's Night - Shadow of the Moon.

(See English text below, please)

My castle cuts a fine, epic and heroic figure in front of yesterday's supermoon.

This castle is really mine, and it's usually located in the miniature railway layout that I put every year for Christmas under the tree :-) It's a HO Scale Faller model kit, about 13 cm. high, that I built many years ago. The moon is the authentic and genuine yesterday's super moon, although the photograph can also be made with a slice of mortadella simulating the moon if you haven't any moon picture available :-)

It's a single capture, taken with my Canon 50D+ Canon 70-200 f/4 L, of the Castle miniature model placed in front of my computer monitor screen with the picture of the moon on it.

These miniature scenes are of a large embalming workshop from Dynasty 21, about 1085 BC in Egypt. As more and more people were mumified, the process must have become more like an essembly line. This period was the last before a general decline in the elbalmer's art during Dynasty 22.

In charge of the mummifications was the "hery seshta" (overseer of mysteries), who took the part of the jackal god Anubis.

Prayers would be said while the necessary incision on the left side of the abdomen was made, and the person who made the cut may have been ritually cursed and chased away for having done it.

The Complete Egyptian Mummification Process:

1. Prayers of Anubis

2. Incision & Removal

3. Internal Organs Removed

4. Packed in Natron

5. Cleaned & Purified

6. Bandaging

7. Scavengers

The Ce 6/8" (later partly Be 6/8") are electric locomotives of the SBB, which were mainly used on the Gotthard railway in front of goods trains and were in service until the 1980s. Of the 33 locomotives built from 1918 onwards, seven have survived. The Ce 6/8", together with the Be 6/8" of similar design developed a little later, was given the nickname "Crocodile", in short "Kroki", which is known beyond the borders of Switzerland. This explanatory text is written on the sign that stands in front of the miniature model of this legendary locomotive in a toy exhibition in the farmyard of Kornberg Castle.
