Look at all the wonderful things Janet (What Comes Next) included in her Mini QT package for me. First the most amazing little quilt. It's jam packed with circles and curves and the whole thing is just gorgeous!
She also included a wonderful note, a little book, a schnibbles pattern, and some black and white polka dot fabric.
This package got here so quick. Thanks Janet! I already have it hanging on my wall!

Straight forward pattern, apart from the zipper fly which I had to unpick several times (this was my first). Waist band closes with a snap, the button is just for decoration.

This Aronde MK2 was based on the 1951 Simca 9 Aronde, which was the first post-war French ponton lined saloon, together which the Renault Frégate (unsure which was really first).
Production Aronde MK2: 1954-1955.

The Mini Thirty was a special limited edition produced in 1989 to commemorate the 30th anniverary of the Mini. There were 2,000 made in cherry red and 1,000 in black and featured miniite alloy wheels and half leather seats. When it came out I knew I had to have one and I bought her in 1992. I still think the 30 is the best limited edition Mini ever produced. .

Went to start the MINI yesterday and on turning the key was met with nothing. We had a flat battery...
This wasn't entirely unexpected, as I've not used the Mini too much lately, although it was fine when I'd run it a few days before. The battery is BMW-branded so it made me wonder if it might be the original, in which case then it's done well to last 14 years.
I was able to quickly jump start it off the Astra so I could complete my journey before connecting it to my CTEK charger/conditioner later in the day. The battery made it through the entire CTEK programme (it would have stalled if the battery was a goner), so I'll see how it goes rather than replace at this point.
I pieced mini dresden plates following the instructions of Acraftyfox/Amanda [farm6.staticflickr.com/5187/buddyicons/49013684@N06.jpg?1...] and appliqued them onto a quilted piece. I used scraps for the petals.
The mini monster kitties are so adorable. My Catrine came with a couple of black marks embedded into the plastic, unfortunately. Oh well, Miss Scruffy Kitty has just been in the wars!
I was originally going to photograph these two in a basket (kitties in a basket, how cute is that?) but I didn't have a miniature basket large enough. :P
