My 10 year old granddaughter spent the day yesterday, and when she found out I needed to take a picture of something black, she wanted me to use her Minecraft figures. All I know about Minecraft is that it’s a very popular computer game where you build things out of squares. So I got out some of my props, she arranged a scene, and I took the picture. I ended up using something else for black yesterday, as we also played with puppies.

This is a model of a house I used to live in during my studies together with four flatmates. I tried to make the model as accurate as possible in Minecraft, which was difficult due to the weird trapezoid shape of the building. Its meant as a surprise present for one of my flatmates, so psssst, don't tell her yet. ;)
The model was exported with the free tool Mineways, and printed on a Zprinter 650 color 3d printer.

It was simple, really, as the camo armor and the Ammo Pouches just add on to the actual suit. I simple added those and recoloured the metal into a slightly more blue tone.
A tower that I have been making in minecraft. I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing, so this seemed like a good idea. It's something like 13 or so floors now, and has just about as many basement levels too.
Hello Guys, I know I hated Minecraft back in September, but good news, I am starting to like it again. I am now a Minecraft-Watcher.

Again. The actual processing plant stayed pretty much the same, but I redid the Sorting System. Sadly I can't stack chests anymore but now I have the Logistics Pipes Add-On for BuildCraft, I was able to place a Provider Pipe under every chest which then feeds into a bunch of automatic crafting tables. Combined with a Request Pipe I can "order" certain items which are then automatically crafted. I got the idea from Direwolf20 when skimming through his Let's Play.
