Minecraft logic gates | From left to right, NOT, AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR, XNOR. The current flows from two on-off switches at the bottom up to a cube at the top that's lit for a 1 and dark for a 0. In Minecraft, when two lines come together, there's an implicit OR gate. The other construction unit is the inverter, which is a NOT gate. L. had to look up how to make the NOR and XNOR gates, but he knew how to make the AND, OR, NOT, and NOR gates. | | |

I made a new Minecraft set made with Lego Digital Designers. It is called the Snowy Crystal Mountain. This set has a lot of crystals and I made 4 New never seen before Micro Mobs, they are called Mountain demons. And I made 3 Micro mob miners. Please support my project. ideas.lego.com/projects/63258

It's great to see exactly what can be done with Spoonflower! Making these has been so much fun!
I wanted to create a cut and sew shorts pattern for Spoonflower, using my DD (Lily) as a model for measurements. I couldn't get her excited about it until I promised to make her some Minecraft themed shorts (a computer game popular with the 5th graders at my DD's school).
Unfortunately, these will never be sold in my Spoonflower shop because it is considered unlicensed fan art. Until I can figure out how to license them they will remain a personal project.
You can however view it at my Spoonflower shop under 'items not for sale' to see how the pattern pieces are laid out for printing. I used a 1 yard piece of Kona Cotton + a separate fat quarter for the pocket insides. I used a different fabric for the waist band interior than the original one on the pattern. The original one was not long enough for my DD's waist measurements (31").

Minecraft is another one of my favourite games in the last few years. It took my friends a looong time to rope me into it because I knew - I knew ! - I'd be in for the long haul with this creative, simple game. We played it all together for a few years and when I introduced Christina to it, she once spent 4 days in a row doing nothing but playing Minecraft. This thing is gamer crack.
Like Portal, Minecraft is a game you can leverage to teach students. The Minecraft Teacher Joel Levin has been doing a great job at just that, and non-profit institutions are using this accessible tool to empower citizens with re-organizing their neighbourhood.
