A Swainson's Thrush with her traveling partner, a gray catbird, stopped by my North Florida property for cover and food in an American beautyberry bush. They are flying along an age old migration route towards central and South America.

Pictured below an American Beautyberry (callicarpa americana) provides food and cover for local and migrating birds.

Counting wildebeest during an aerial survey: 645 wildebeest between the strip markers, 111 wildebeest outside the markers. Near Liuwa Plain National Park, Western Zambia.

Sometimes i see big birds on the sky, don't know what kind of.

Black swans migrating north over Coorong National Park, Hindmarsh Island, South Australia. These birds fly a marathon when migrating.

It was snowing hard at the beach today and I came across this seagull spookily staring into the water.

...or just cleaning nectar and/or bugs off of it.
