A Swainson's Thrush with her traveling partner, a gray catbird, stopped by my North Florida property for cover and food in an American beautyberry bush. They are flying along an age old migration route towards central and South America.
Pictured below an American Beautyberry (callicarpa americana) provides food and cover for local and migrating birds.
