For Christmas 2013, I received the astronishingly beautiful collaboration of John Howe and Brian Sibley: The Maps of Tolkien's Middle Earth. John Howe, if you're unaware (along with Alan Lee), was the official concept artist for Peter Jackson's movies. Brian Sibley has done countless movie companion books for the series as well. Set to a backdrop of a Middle Earth map blanket, what could be better?

The elfin queen left it behind..

A garland of vintage enameled brass flowers with crystal swarovski capri blue 'eyes' are strewn across genuine lava stones. Nestling amid these blossoms you can find soft green frosted glass bead buds, swarovski peridot margaridas and green lime lucite blooms.

Moss grows on the northside of the trees.

This Rivendell Forest moss pendant necklace has growing things..fading roses strewn among glistening dewdrops, amethyst zirconias and tiny micro beads gleaming through moss (on the north side).All set onto a silver plate stamping, with my own hand patina, that 'crowns' a black lava stone pendant stone ..the earth,itself.

The 3" (7.6cm) pendant hangs from a 20"(50cm)black mesh chain that can be adjusted to 18"(46cm).

Comes with its own MiddleEarths 'precious pouch'.
