Intel PRO 100 Intelligent Server Adapter with Intel i960.
This is a rare Network-Card with a dedicated I/O-Processor - a part of the I2O System.
Intelligent Input/Output (I2O) is a defunct computer input/output (I/O) specification. I2O emerged from Intel in the mid 1990s with the publication of the I2O specification in 1996 by the Intelligent I/O Special Interest Group. I2O was originally designed to make use of the Intel i960 microprocessor as the I/O offload engine, bringing channel I/O to the PC.

Assembled RAMPS-1.4 board based on the kit from UltiMachine. RAMPS is the RepRap Arduino Mega Pololu Shield -- in other words, it's an Arduino shield (mountable daughter board) that provides RepRap 3D printer electronics, see objects.reprap.org/wiki/RAMPS and objects.reprap.org/wiki/RAMPS1.4 for more details. This kit comes with the surface-mount devices pre-soldered. There are a lot of SMD components on this board, so this kit saved a lot of work versus a bare board.
One Pololu A4988 driver daughterboard was assembled at the same time, and is shown mounted on the RAMPS headers at the 5th position, or lower right. Full info on this driver board is available at its Pololu product page, www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1182 .
Note that Pololu driver daughterboards must be inserted into the RAMPS headers with correct orientation (the one shown here is oriented correctly), namely with their potentiometers on the side facing away from the RAMPS board's power and MOSFET terminals. If you insert them with the opposite orientation, instant destruction is assured on applying power.
FLC100 shield, with XRF radio module and shunts still to be fitted.
This board is a prototype version and so can be constructed and connected in several different ways. There are two possible possible regulator circuits. The XRF radio can be connected to either of two UARTs available on the Calunium board. There are three possible connections for the I2C interface: pins A4/A5 as used by the standard Arduino, pins 20/21 (as used by Calunium, the Arduino Mega I2C interface is in the same location), or connected to the new dedicated I2C pins found on the Arduino Uno v2).
The shield was designed to allow an FLC100 fluxgate magnetometer sensor to be mounted on this board or on an external sensor board. The fluxgate sensor and analogue to digital converter are normally remote. There is also an option to mount the ADC on this PCB and connect its inputs to a remote magnetometer sensor.
A basic STM32 breakout board that exposes several I2C, SPI, USART etc interfaces as well as a simplified JTAG interface and several power pins. A miniUSB plug is connected to the STM32's USB peripheral and two LEDs sit on timer channels. The switches are power on/off and boot selection: bootloader or user code.

With a stereo-microscope and needle-nose pliers I straightened out the bent pins. They look to be all present and straight enough.

- Modulasinya "Tengelam"
- Cut by Cut..
- 5 Clear but Not Continue...
