Named after one of the most dangerous predators on Honorous VII, a Rimward colony world originally settled by Eastern European and Japanese colonists, the Tigerhound is as rugged as it's namesake. A modular internal construction allows the ship to take quite the pounding if it's shields fail, though a smart commander of the vessel will utilise the potent, long range cannon to harass enemy capital ships at long range.

It's primary role is that of a scout, commerce raider and escort. During major fleet actions, the Tigerhound can screen larger ships from the assault of enemy fighter swarms, and is nimble enough to stay close and redeploy quick enough. However, in short-range combat with any capital ship of Frigate size or above, a wise commander would withdraw, lest they test the ruggedness of this vessel.

loosely inspired by Chicago buildings. Eventually these will go in a micro city, together with this brutalist skyscraper

as usual, more pics in my photostream

Phew, it's done! With the fading light and wind threatening to scatter ABS everywhere I managed to finally take pics of this bastard which has been built for nearly a week. The small spaceships on the left and the rocket taking off on the right were last-minute tweaks but they seemed to really add a sense of movement.

I thought I'd uploaded this here. Oopsie daisy.

And that's why I should never be allowed to name things.

The problem with this is, I'm positive the design has been done before, I just can't remember who did it first. But I wanted to try a microscale ship, so: mission accomplished, and to the MEH group with you.

Hospital for the citizens of Micropolis, inspired by the architecture of the San Francisco General Hospital's older buildings. See my blog at www.brickpile.com for more info.

The vulture is now in current livery and has under-wing engines.

Created for Guy Himber's Cabinet of Curiosities, a microscale version of Hogwarts.

The city is in chaos. An ominous plume of black smoke rises above the modern factories of the industrial district, evidence of the relentless bombardment by the attacking forces. Tanks and APCs rumble past the now-closed Gate 47, normally one of the district's main entrance points, on their way to mount a counter-attack against the invaders

Updated version of this. Thanks go to Lego.Crazy (www.flickr.com/photos/52988296@N03/) and Sikula Visual Solutions for the useful advice.

Built for the LMABC 2012.

Rogue Bantha made a so marvellous microscale version of the famous at-at. I wanted to do something with it. Regarding the pictures I took, I'm surprised by the quality of this model. They look so real, don't you think ?

When the war came to the Antarion IV, the factories became a significant target for heavy bombers of the enemy faction. As a result, each factory was upgraded to defend itself and ultimately the factories on Antarion IV became as heavily armed as the war machines they produced.

This microscale vignette was created for the Eurobricks Micro Sci-Fi contest.

I had the pleasure of participating in a workshop focused on Microscale building techniques at January's ArchLUG meeting which was organized by Daniel Fortine. I put some of the tricks we learned to practice, including headlight bricks for Windows, 1x1 plates for decoration, and a trick to create tiny 1/2 plate thick steps using 1x2 panels.

Unfortunately, I ran out of time... What should I put on the second floor?

and here are the two books I've built so far ...

And so, recently my old computer died, and all the files with models and renders did the same. Actually, that's why I haven't been heard from for so long.

I present to your attention the MK2 Heavy Cruiser.

Everyone's favorite flying piece of junk. Fun to swoosh too.

Rougebantha's version of the falcon was a help in making mine.

This is my Grandad's house rendered in LEGO on a micro scale. It was a present for him on Christmas 2013. :-)

This photo is of the real thing for comparison!

I have many fond memories of Christmases spent here. Notice the striped lawns, the golden retrievers in the front garden, the half-tile brackets on the garage doors, and not one, not two but three chimneys!

Solar sailers are the newest toys of the Algorian elite... The model shown here is the "Guilty Pleasure" of the infamous guerilla banker Gilga Meshaneed.

Made with MLCAD.

Well this are the planes of my current project.

The Verreaux-class transporter shows, once again, that Blacktron will brazenly copy any proven spacecraft design.

This one has a long and distinguished lineage of design, from joermurphy 's take of Malcolm Craig 's Gunbastard based on afny 's Gunbuddy inspired by DrWatsman 's Beetle which had elements of Soren 's Conscript.

My first attempt at building micro buildings. I think I'm going to try this more often!

Turns out I find building a microscale speeder rather hard.
