A dear friend shared with me a letter she sent recently and it touched me deeply and got me thinking about so many things.
About how honest we can be with our feelings.
About the care we can put into the words that we say to others.
Words have power. So much power.
Do we care enough to think about that before we speak with others? Do we let emotions take over often and just throw it out in the universe in the hope we are understood or, at least, in the hope we can eventually mend whatever our words cause to others?
How is it that writing can be so cathartic?

When Sophia posted the WIP of this beautiful shrug I was hooked. I have a soft spot for shrugs and boleros and oh my goodness this one is just a dream of pure softness.
